Snowman
On yeah, I remember that crazy thing. Someone that I knew had a pile of those. I don't think that design worked out so well.
BlueB
Someone that I knew had a pile of those. Hmmm, let's see... Who's got a screen name like that? Someting ending with "...holic", maybe? :D
BlueB
Hey Burton, is this thing taking up space in your closet? I'd pay shipping and a bit for it. Or, trade a shorter "normal" carving board.
Thor VonRippington
Hmmm, let's see... Who's got a screen name like that? tex1230
can you show a side shot - I want to understand what you mean by "double camber"? is it like waves or channels?
Bobby Buggs
I have a set of those Rossi bindings, from the mid 90s
Ladia
I bought one of these a couple years ago for about 30 bucks. I was very short board something about 153. I was actually pleasantly surprised how it rode. It was a little bit awkward early especially during fast short turns, but after couple runs I got it and I was really surprised how big turn you can make on such short board and how stable it was. In that time I consider even consider to recreate this concept of huge taper, but in single camber. For tex: yes like waves.
Dan
can you show a side shot - I want to understand what you mean by "double camber"?is it like waves or channels? Yep, waves like Ladia said. Here's an archived page from their site explaining the dual camber concept and how they thought it works: http://web.archive.org/web/20041205172032/http://www.incaempire.com/what.html. They were a local company, and I demo'd a freeride board in 2001 or so. I was a beginner, so I can't give much useful information on how it rode, but I remember it was much damper than the crappy rental I had been riding. eajracing
it's almost like i've seen this somewhere before..... http://www.lib-tech.com/snow/tech/c2-power-banana/ i cant wait til sawing the nose and tail off my board comes back into style again.... i've got some monster wide pants just waiting for that day. I'd still like to give that inca a rip though.... just to see how crazy works.
