Can you pull the liners out and see if they are 27.0 or 27.5? Size 9 can be either of those because the shells are whole size only.

1981... But had a few years off due to injury and poverty... All told, 34 years since I first strapped on a board, with maybe 4 years of not riding. I think I made up for those years off with a few 100 day seasons though

The big Diablo (176) came out the first year I was living in Tahoe...1991 i think? I was up at Donner Summit with John Treman and a couple of others...John held the record for the biggest cliff jump on skis at the time. John hucks off a nice 40 footer and stomps it. My roommate Alan says something about ski world records and proceeds to launch himself and his Diablo 60'+, and John didn't talk the rest of the day... My other nitro story would be racing 2 seasons on the nitro/fritschi bindings. Those things were bulletproof in he early 90s Great collection of art, Bryan!

Ok I'm all set on boots and board (thx Ebay and Bryan). Next up in a month I will be looking for bindings. Thinking Nidecker Carbon 900, Burton C14 or something similar. Need 4-hole pattern. Let me know what you have. Hoping to stay under $100 for the bindings :D

For the next couple of years, I'm going to be riding maybe 1-2 weeks a year in southern Colorado. (Durango or Telluride) Hoping to pick some decent powder days but likely variable conditions. I ride the steepest stuff I can find, I don't jump much. Carving is always the goal, and I couldn't find much info on the side cuts, but I'm hoping for 9m+ Also I'm 6' 225+lbs, so need something on the stiff side... I haven't had a soft setup in about 10 years, so I'm not quite comfortable looking at all the new rocker camber combinations. Just looking for general advice.

Well I found some Burton Driver X that were too good to pass up (I hope) - so now just looking for board and bindings. Steep water? Ride? Lib tec? Tanker? What's out there? Also need some advice on the bindings- I haven't bought highbacks in a decade plus...
