Obviously photos or video would be great, but here is what I focus on... Make sure you are looking ahead. By ahead I don' mean the spot where you will be in 0.5 seconds, look to the spot where you will be in 2 seconds. The rotation of the head will affect your shoulders which will affect you hips which will help bring the board around. Make sure that the board is at a steep angle to the snow. The image I always think about is the one of JaseyJay coming over a roller with the board almost perpendicular to the snow. Of coarse, I cannot find that photo but here are a few others. wtf is that fu manchu thing on this guys face?!? He's probably wearing Raichle Flex-Ons too... :rolleyes: :D

lift/cant will also affect your stance width (i.e. with more lift it is easier to accommodate a wider stance)

I believe a passholder can get you a discounted lift ticket for $42. not sure what coupons are out there. It might be worthwhile to check Craigslist for people selling four-packs (which are four individual tickets that could all be used on the same day) and splitting it with others on the day of the event.

that's one of the issues with being a weekend warrior. easiest solution: go to Monarch! Avoid Summit County if you can only ride weekends and are not comfortable with crowds.

Another great day. Ink, Petunia (big mario), Arneburner, Tony, Monodue, justk and myself were out laying trenches. Typical lovey day, 30* and calm at the base 600mph winds at the top, windchill had to be approaching absolute zero. K was tearing it up, especially with only "3" days on plates. Now if we can just keep her from trying to get snow facial treatments mid turn...

Have another talk with him and ask how many bails he has broken. Cyclic loading due to improper preload of the bails, is a most excellent recipe for fatigue failure. :)
