  1. the boots are still available.
  2. Steve, where in CO are you? I have a set of mondo 30ish upz boots barely used http://www.bomberonline.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=26585 If your in the area, I'd be willing to meet to let you try them on.
  3. Getting out of snowboarding so up for sale are a set of low use (maybe 7 days) UPZ red boots, retail was over $450 Asking $175 obo. Hopefully they will go to a good home here. As always, shipping is additional, willing to meet in Co Springs, Dillon/ Frisco, or Denver areas. cb0y1 at yahoo dot com
  4. I'm selling my Burton Supermodel 173, its in very good shape, it was my great weather board, no major nicks or dings in the bottom, Tuned last year and only used it once. Top of the board is in good shape too, no chunks missing. Just slight scratches from the bottom of the boots. This is a great soft boot carver and still handles very well. Also for for sale perferably with the board is a set of great condition Clicker bindings, I beleave they are the 1999 SST variety, I also have the various spacers to shim the bottom of the boot to prevent rock. And last but not least for now 1998 Shimano Skylord Clicker Boots, Size 12, they have a powerstrap, Heal strap, and locking ankle position. Not sure what to ask so make me an honest offer. I prefer not to ship if it all possible but would be willing to meet someone anywhere between Co Spring/Denver/Pueblo/Dillon area.
  5. I have a problem, I can't board midweek so I always get stuck with the weekend crowds. I'm sure I'm no the only one in this predicament but I only have the season pass for Breck, Keystone, and A-basin. I've managed to get the board out twice this year, the first time was alright, but yesterday there were so many people that when I almost had enough speed to get a turn in I got cut off from one direction and plowed into from another. This seems to be most of the time that this happens to me now so I'm thinking about selling out:eek:. For a long time I've wanted apline gear but now that I have is and cannot make it out on days that are good, I cannot get proficient enough to lay a good trench (I also think a Coil 165 is not long enough to support my weight.). I find myself skiboarding (short wide skis with good sidecut which carve very nice too) more and more since I can easily weave in and out of people and don't need to commit to a line. I just find it frusterating to have gear I rarely use and when I do I can't have fun when I do finally pull it out. So I figured I would ask,, What would you do? Sorry for the rambling.
  6. So as I was getting ready for some carving, a guy in his early 20s walk by and said to his buddy, "dude check out that alpine board" that was my proud moment before actually getting it on the hill and finding out that there were so many people I couldn't even use it. On my way back down to the car, another snowboarder sees it and asked if this was new school. I ride a Burton Coil. But at least he asked the right questions so I pointed him to Bomber.
  7. Saw a Coda monoski at the local board shop the other day and did a little research into them, says on the website they are going to be introducing a carving board next year, holy swallowtail. Got any insight on them Fin since they run bomber bindings? Will it be worth the wait for next year?
  8. would love to but that dang work thing gets in the way. I will be out to Keystone Sunday though.
  9. did not talk to him about angles, the Coil was only in for a basegrind wax and a small repair.
  10. Just picked up my Coil from Blindside, looks better than it ever has, will get tested this sunday. Was that your board in there rdietz?
  11. Took my Supermodel to Blindside at thte intersection of us24 and 21st street. The owner is the only employee and really does care for the customer, very knowlegable too. I'm taking my Coil there Tuesday too since the Supermodel came out so good. He is closed Sunday and Monday for snowboarding.
