    Yo Lci!!

complete understatement! I was "sick" yesterday, so Shelly and I went to Lovey. Rode with LLR for awhile; she's railing the Oldenbürg she got from "the salesman" the end of last season. Richards was good until ~1:00 when it started getting soft; they then roped-off the right half of Richards for race training. Talk about getting doubled f@*ked!!!
  11. How many hours do you have on the bindings? If there was a material or manufacturing defect, failure would likely have occurred in the first hour or two of riding. The most common cause for fastener failure is lack of proper preload. When was the last time you checked the tightness of the kingpin? In most applications, bolts are intended to only have induced tensile stresses; this requires a stiff joint, hence, proper preload. When bolts become loose, bending and shear stresses, as well as tensile stresses, are be induced in the bolt, leading to premature failure. Preventative maintenance is critical, even on something as simple as a snowboard binding! Back on topic: MikeC - sadly you are not the first person to have this problem and likely not the last. :(
  12. Just saw this thread for the first time. You have my utmost respect for doing something about your situation rather than staying there and continuing to be miserable. Congratulations!
  13. FYI - it's titanal, an aluminum alloy, not titanium.
  14. Just because Denver gets snow does not mean that the resorts do. Check the websites for the mountains' to see what their forecasts/conditions are prior to packing your boards.
  15. i'm glad to see that more and more people are realizing that that place is your one-stop shop. i think his accent is Cuban.
