    Yo Lci!!

hmmmm... good snow, good weather, good people, good beer = great day thanks everyone!
  2. Venture = good, period! fit, finish and durability are all top notch, plus they are good people.
  3. Mats - you're right... they are superlight weight and fit well, but are expensive! The primary disadvantage is the loooonnnnnnggggggg sole length - not an issue if you're only using them on the SuperSwede. Buell will have more insight, but I enjoyed wearing AT boot on a freeride board and continue to using them on my split board.

    Yo Lci!!

There are way more than just Coors in CO. i.e. Tommyknockers, New Belgium, Great Divide, Wynkoop, Flying Dog, Breckenridge, Sandlot, Avery, etc... JP - there are a bunch of extra boards floating around out here. We could probably hook you up with some to ride so that you don't have bring yours out. Contact me if you are interested.
  5. Something similar to this. Rumor has it she opted for the diamond-encrusted version.
  6. Steepwater - especially at that price!!
  7. I had the blue version of the "Danni Kiwi Meier" Tanker. It was ±1 year from the board pictured above. As an attempt to make the boards lighter, Völkl was building them with a honeycomb down the center; no foam was used.
  8. Sorry bj, apparently I threw them out when I sold my old shells. :o I'll let you know if I find them.
  9. I think I still have my old liners. I'll check tonight when I get home. If I find them, they are yours.
  10. Thanks for the TGR link, hadn't seen that yet. I've been perusing splitboard.com for about a year. I've seen your mods to the F1's and F3's. At my size (~210lbs, before gear), I am afraid to buy a boot with bellows. Unless the manufacturers come out with something dramatically different for '10-'11, my current thoughts are either the Scarpa Spirit 3/Maestrale or Garmont Helix. The biggest determining factor will be which boot fits my wide foot. :( Any thoughts? The weight of the Garmont Lightrider & Masterlite are appealing, but the prices are not... edit: The Black Diamond Prime may also be a contender; the toe box looks roomy.
  11. anxiously waiting... nice:biggthump:biggthump I have contemplated doing the toepieces, but it meant buying compatible boots as well. With the price drop, I justify the upgrades! :D

    Yo Lci!!

I'm out - as much as I have been traveling, Sundays are the only day I get to spend with Shelly.
  13. AT boots in MP26. On the Voile plates, I do have the bindings adjusted to maximum size. Definitely. Since I am a bigger guy, I chose the SnowPros since they have double the number mounting bolts. I will post photos later tonight.
  14. x2 I picked up a set of Fuse base plates at the end of the season, but have not had the courage to drill them... I'm currently riding voile plates with SnowPro toe and heel pieces adapted, but, like everyone else, want a larger range of motion.
  15. since you appear interested, a quick search revealed the original March 29, 2010 post from CaRtharsis
  16. The white ribbon of death may be starting to form, but i highly doubt it will be ready that early in October. Go hike and enjoy the scenery! as of this moment, Loveland says the snowmaking will begin in 1 month, 13 days, 14 hours and 25 minutes... <object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ERy-9DZJsbE&hl=en_US&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ERy-9DZJsbE&hl=en_US&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object>
