  1. Wow Dave great shot!! Trent the curse is only there when you are around Scott and I had a great time ripping that line below the chair.

I did find spots of ice on Milkrun and Crossroads. By Noon the ice was showing up quite a bit. Scott and I had fun under the chair on Olympic Dreams. Great seeing all the racers out.
  3. I looked outside this morning and said "hmm flat light, lets get something done around this house". I'll be down tomorrow cheering on the racers.
  4. Glad to hear you are getting the start from Olympic. A full run down Warners would not be fun for racing on. I'll be out rooting everyone on!
  5. Thanks Trent! I had a great time. Couple of sore spots but definately worth it.
  6. All excuses have been sold, and I have a strict no return policy.
  7. I've been spending all morning coming up with reasons why I can't travel next week. Its been fun being creative.

  10. Do you need ones like this? If so make me an offer, you can have all three! erik _ gerrits at msn dot com
  11. It was perfect for the first hour, but from there it went down hill. Did I mention I really love my Coiler. If I was in the perfect position I could still go through the chip, ice, chunk stuff.
  12. Thanks for the video! Conditions continued to degrade after you left. Karl and I left at about 11:00.
  13. I plan on heading out tomorrow morning. Figure two grooms on the ice should be good.

  15. Buck Hill in all its glory! <object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zvs3usF-Feo?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zvs3usF-Feo?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object>
  16. Its in my calender. I am suppose to travel that week but I think I can get out of that trip.
  17. I'm working on the video from today. Looks like some of it came out pretty good. I must say bobble you are much better with the camera than I am! Snow was awesome today!!!
  18. <table><th width="125"></th><tr><td><b>Date</b></td><td>12/22/2010</td></tr><tr><td><b>Temp</b></td><td>34F</td></tr><tr><td><b>Visibility</b></td><td>Sunny at first then flat light</td></tr><tr><td><b>Conditions</b></td><td>soft cord</td></tr><tr><td><b>Hardbooters</b></td><td> 1 (Me)</td></tr></table> I got there at 10:15. The sun on the drive there was very nice. I thought, this could be a great day, then I get to the parking lot. I had to park by the tubing hill, okay that's a lot of people but it can't be that bad. I get my ticket at the secret location and head out. Massive line going in for tickets. Well okay that might get bad. I head up the lift and see a skier and snowboarder collide. No ones hurt but that's pretty early for that. Start my run on Crossroads. There are newbies, racers and all others out there. Pick my time and go. Snow is nice but laying some deep trenches. FF to my third run. Space things out and get 3/4s of the way down and get clipped from the rear my a boarder. He asked if I was okay and took off. Did a few runs on Olympic then it was enough. Got out of my car at 10:15, left at 11:15. Todays motto: "Amateur hour at the sh!+ show!"
  19. The front flip was entertaining. Lookout actually did me in. I hit my hip repeatedly on healside turns. I now have a large bruise and a new set of pads. I broke down on got the Protec ones. Pretty good so far.
  20. Wow for southern Indiana that looks great. I am thinking I should make a trip to Indy and grab my brother and head down this winter. He hasn't been on a board in almost 10 years.
  21. Marco thank you for these videos. It has helped me progress into getting more aggressive with my turns. Today I was out for a few hours and I would start my turns with my hip versus my ankles, huge improvement! Thanks again!
  22. I went out for a couple of hours after lunch. Snow was great, light sucked. I keep finding my hip on my healside turns. I think I might have to invest in some type of protection.
  23. This biggest thing I noticed is that it gives you the time to adjust your technique. Its probably only like 500 ms but its enough to adjust. Have fun!!!
  24. I use oxyclean for cleaning. It works great and easily rinses out.
