I plan on riding Monday and Tuesday. Anyone else thing they will be out?

I'll probably ride a during the weekdays. I am staying in Portland at a buddies place. I am getting a rental car so I can get around. Though while actually in Portland having a car is pretty much not needed.

I booked flights. I'll be out there the week before Christmas.

Snow guns are going!!!

Any thoughts on what conditions could be the week before Christmas? Thinking about hanging out in Portland for a week then.

Interesting, I have purchased a few items from Element Design. Good to work with, I hope this works out. Seems like an easy straight forward way to do the transactions.

I lasted about 1.5 hours. Karl was out with his new Donek, sweet looking ride! It was granular over ice. A little better than yesterday. It was actually fun for about an hour, once it got chunked up that was enough for me. My mountain bike is looking pretty tempting these days.

Today was awesome. Alex is doing great. So much fun with firm cord with new snow on top. When I got to the car to take my boot off I had snow under every zipper, velcro, and whatever else is suppose to keep snow out. Should be fun tomorrow!

It wasn't that great. Crossroads was soft with ice underneath. I spend a couple of hours on Olympic Dreams. It wasn't to bad, big ruts. I stayed till I kept getting caught in my own ruts. Probably head out tomorrow morning.

Hmm. Think I am going to have to sneak out of work early.

Great riding with you guys! Got 6 hours in on Friday at Indianhead.

Spent a couple of hours at Giant's Ridge this afternoon. There was about 9 people there. Snow was awesome!!! I wish I could of worked up the nerve for some of there black runs, they just looked a little to narrow for me.

Sounds good. I have a call in Two Harbors at 8 am that "shouldn't" last to long then its off to Spirit.

I think I will be at Spirit this Thursday. Anybody going to be riding?

It was busy, had to go to the super secret location for the lift ticket. The conditions were good, just flat light. Karl was out doing turns with Isabella for a while. I saw her racing the other weekend on softboots, she was looking great in hardboots. Go Pack Go!

Did a little tracking with my phone. Highest speed was 30 at the end of the run going to the lift. 14-15 mph in the carves.

Sorry to hear that, good luck on recovery!!!! Fracturing the fibia is a big deal, that takes a lot of force.

Yeah good old Buck Hill. I probably had 4 more turns till I was at the bottom!
