  1. I'll third Indianhead. It actually gets steeper at the bottom. I love that last pitch.
  2. The pitch off of the high speed lift is good for carving for about 3/4's of the way down. Then its flat at the bottom to the lift. I didn't check any of the runs to the east side of the hill, I was only there for one evening.
  3. My quick way was to line the inside of the tongue with this stuff from Walmart. http://www.walmart.com/ip/Self-Adhesive-Foam-Sheets-Multi-Colors-40-Pack/17473841 Should of just got a sheet of boot fitting material. It helped a lot.
  4. This weather sucks! The hill was pretty bad, sugar over ice. I lasted a half an hour and took off. Lots of racing going on and it was great to see all those race boards this morning. Good luck to all racing today.
  5. Bob, those video's came out pretty good. I can see we are going to have a lot of fun with that camera this winter.
  6. Those are nice with the extended boom Dave. I'll be up sometime this winter to ride again at Spirit.
  7. Sorry to see that. I am glad it popped again in the lift line and not on a run. Hopefully you can get replacement parts quickly.
  8. The video's look great. Maybe tonight I'll look at making some type of a mount tonight.
  9. Great job on the picture Trent! John has the video up: <object style="height: 390px; width: 640px"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p8RnfpdcfXI?version=3&feature=player_profilepage"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p8RnfpdcfXI?version=3&feature=player_profilepage" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="640" height="360"></object>
  10. Good times yesterday, thanks Trent for organizing!
  11. Just got done waxing the board. Wow, pulled a tooth out, nice work!
  12. Good snow and good conditions. Karl, Zach and myself were out on hardboots. Zach did a great job, first day on hardboots! The gentleman with the Asym Burton Prime was out as well, getting a lot better too! Only spot of ice was on the top of Warners. Saw BobD out two planking it. Bob you really should of gotten a few runs on a board :)
  13. Vacation request has been confirmed.
  14. Trent, In your email you have Jan 25, in the post Feb 25. We going for both?
  15. Since the snow piling up I decided to run home for lunch and come back with a different board selection. Brought out the big dog, Lib Tech Doughboy and a Burton Custom 163 both with Catek OS1s on them. I rode the Doughboy for about 45 minutes, the thing can go through anything and its length (193 I think) allows for you to carry quite a bit of speed. I then switched over to the Custom for the rest of my time out. After a couple of tweaks to the binding setting I was very happy with this board with plates on it. Was in and out of the deeper stuff onto the cord and it worked well. I am thinking of just retiring my softboots and just ride hardboots on my wide boards for the soft days.
  16. All guns are blazing. If you are coming down I would bring a wide board. I am wishing I would of brought my soft setup.
  17. Great news! Thanks for the update. I'll probably head out tomorrow and rip up the cord.
  18. This morning was good. I woke up hoping to see the 1-2 inches of new snow, only to see my dull looking yard. Flat light morning. There was a little peak of sun around 10:30 only to cloud up again. The snow on the other hand was really great. I think the humidity really softened things up. Carves were about 4 inches deep and could hold them on anything. I actually did a heel side over one of the rollers on skiers right. It was kind of a euro/nothing below me/drive board into snow and pop up turn. Not sure if I'll make it out tomorrow, probably depends on what the weather actually does.
  19. I was out on Tuesday and Wednesday morning. I only went for about a hour and a half. Probably head out tomorrow morning.
  20. I'll most likely be out riding tomorrow morning. Now that the temps look like they are going to drop tonight.
  21. I lasted about an hour and a half and called it quits. The first couple of runs weren't to bad, found just a little bit of ice. Then it softened up and got bumped up quit. I am going to pass on tomorrow. Going to run out to the coast.
  22. I am planning on Tuesday as well. Depends how I feel after day 1!
  23. I'm looking forward to getting up there bright and early tomorrow morning.
  24. Sounds good gentlemen. I'll through my softboots in with my just in case but even if its a couple of inches of new snow the Coiler can cut through that quite well.
  25. I am flying out on Friday, hanging out in Portland for the weekend. Then up to Hood for Monday and Tuesday. Looking at the weather forecast I am thinking about just leaving the softboots here, thinking the Coiler (173 VSR) could be good for the conditions.
