  1. Sounds like you answered your own question. Have fun!

    Yo Lci!!

-4*? Oof. I might be out too, unless that changes.

If I do head up, maybe I'll bring the SL board (just in case).
  4. Don't use em. I've had years on boots with no major wear, and you can buy replacment pads for similar money to yaktraks if you ever get that far.

I just assume that I'm going to have a 20-40min delay, and try to be pleasently supprised if it does't happen. I haven't been up for a few days (maybe tomorrow?), but last I was up coverage was good, but terrain limited. I know they have opened a bit more since then, but it's still limited. That said, it's been good/ firm conditions.

I'm seeing gusts at 30-40mph. What weather predictor are you using? Between the wind and the fist holiday weekend, I'm tempted to pass as I don't want to spend 6hrs in the car.

Nice. The more lifts, hopefully the better distribution.

I only took a few after you guys called it. I got frost nip on my toes the first Sunday out, and it's been watching them on days in the single digits. Good snow, but brrrrrr. Hoping tomorrow is a little less "intense".
  9. If you/ they already own the board, you can certainly give it a go to try riding at higher angles. If they are not tipping the board particularly high and have a smaller foot, boot out might not be an immediate issue. If you/ they do not already own the board, see the above reply's. There are better fits for soft boot carving decks.

It's been pretty ok lately, but I imagine after this weeks snow it'll be more crowded thany typical, and if it's single digits tomorrow I wouldn't mind staying below the wind. As of mid week at least, Switchback off 3 was open top to bottom (they were not yet forcing you to dump onto Boomerang).

Down at the lower Valley lot? I'd happily run laps off Lift 3. Assuming I wake up in good shape I'm planning on heading up.

Is traffic still backed up from Black Hawk to Dumont?
  13. Saw a handful of soft book carvers last time I was at Copper, too. Good stuff.
  14. The .951/ SBX wrap is the most comfortable/ highest performance set up I've ever had.
  15. I meant movement in the cuff (fore/ aft, or side to side) between your leg and the liner. If you need to crush your leg with the buckles to get rid of movement, then you are also crushing out any ability to absorb shock. If you have a "snug" buckle adjustment, but your shin is banging into the liner, then you probably have too much space in there. Could just be the wrong liner for your comfort level. That's part of the reason they make a bunch of options. Best of luck!
  16. Did you have them molded? Are you experiencing movement inside the liner during riding? I much prefer a wrap liner to a tounge, but fit trumps that.

Yup, if I'm not chasing the gang around, I'm usually just lapping 3 to try to work on technique. The run to lift line ratio is good for me. Unless it's empty and blue bird. If anyone is headed up mid week (ever) feel free to ping. I try to get a floating day in W/Th/Fri depending on my schedule.

Pretty good today. Decent turn out for a few hours this morning. Once folks called it I bailed on the Basin and went to the Valley. They just opned 3, and (for the moment) they have the full length of switchback over there. If you time it between racer kid flocks and the few never evers dotting the trail, you can pretty much treat it like a private run. https://www.instagram.com/p/CId5PqKl8eO/?igshid=1bud5qfc8e4cx
  20. Looking for the tall shim sets (heel lifts) for M and L. Could use a few sets of each, and thought I'd try here before buying more new. Preferably with the screws, but that's not a deal breaker. Thanks!
  21. Odds are good you can find someone willing to trade top parts Intec to bail. I did this last year when I went to MS boots. Super easy swap, but as noted it's maybe not worth it if over just getting another set.
  22. Looks like they are back open for the season. Going to try to make Tue a regular thing.
  23. None of my buisness, but if they felt good when you put them on (especially unmolded), I'd be shocked if going bigger was helpful unless you have a particular foot anomoly that needs to be accounted for.
