This day sucked! Are you serious?!? Straightliners... never saw any. You must have been on the wrong runs. So much fun I had to hit the moguls. Twice! KarverKai, OddJob, Carvin Marvin and I had a blast ripping around the mtn. PCDenver, DT, Shelly, great riding with you all again. Dude, you’re nuts! James, get your lungs fixed KarverKai, great job on the 158 Hot Blast. You were killing it and looked super comfortable on it wrapping it around tight turns. Ink

Tom, H-man is killing it! Super cool to see. Ink

JP1 asked me to test his Gizmos several years ago so I did. I mounted them to my BS 178 that I last raced in 2002. Yes, old race tech. I also mounted my TD1 binders for that really rough, stiff ride. The Gizmos made that a super fun set up again. Well done John! When you coming back to Lovey? Ink -
I concur with Big Mario and will add... the not so good - butt is not a pontoon and should not swing into the middle for the board to rotate around. On heel side drive your right hip forward in the turn. If you don’t believe me then ask Odd Job what he thinks. Ink

Won’t make it this season but will be pushing for an LCI Takeover next year if I can get members to commit. I just found out we get 3 free days at Whitefish with our Loveland season pass! Have fun this year and hopefully see you next season! Ink

Ask oldsnowboards. Brian will most likely have the best “cost” answer. Ink

Again with Top to bottom trains with da boys = permagrin ??????? Another beautiful day for a rip. Super stoked to have KarverKai and D.T. In the lineup. Along with us was Big Mario, Sheriff Pete, slopestar, odd job, who is finally putting the donated knowledge to good use, James and the Dude. Dude, I hope you are ok after the big collision today. Slope said you “walked” to your vehicle and drove yourself home. Ink

Also skateslate.com for info. My son was a noob 1 1/2yrs ago. YouTube helped a ton for learning slides. He then Made friends with a shop rat kid and his friends whom have shown him the ropes to ride faster and safer at high speeds. Now he gets to rip with some of ColoRADos top riders. Shops employees may point you in the direction of the local rips after you get to know them. Worked for us. Ink -
Such a rad day with a great crew. Thanks for capturing some clips of it Slopestar! ?? Ink

Is that Arne’s old board? Correct, Bola sold them and I believe may have had a hand in the design/specs. Cloithoid like Bigs said but I seem to remember that being rather large for a 174. That said, Arne was able to shrink his right down to a pretty tight radius with a bit of effort. By the way, these get better as the snow gets harder. ? Ink

Svr, Maybe one of the swell riders on that side of the divide would be kind enough to bring you to Loveland on the 10th to session with the LCI. Pass holders can get discounted tix. We’d love to have you play in our neighborhood. Ink

May be able to fit that in. Let ya know later in the week. Ink

Holy crap Kurt! The old school quiver is awesome!! Always loved and wanted that Barfoot, buddy has both the OG round tail and swallow tail wintersticks, and I had the Backhill. ?? Ink

Stop sitting on the toilet so much farting in your pants. Listen to me Odd Job. You know. ink -
I second Slopestar’s post. Was good for my first day out with some good folks. Getcha neck fixed for next weekend Kevin. Ink

Here is a pic taken last week at the local rip. KarverKai was going about 40mph when this was taken. Also of note is his now being sold Liqwood Sapling, which he prototyped several weeks back. Ink

Slopestar, have you checked out Pantheon boards yet? Jeff the owner just had a Breck to Copper to Breck LDP event this past weekend and has hosted a couple races this summer. Not sure if this is your type of thing or not but figured you may want to check into their social media accounts to keep up on some of these. Ink P.S. not long till Lovey opens for 17/18!

So previous vid was day 1 on the big hill. Kai now has about a dozen morning sessions ripping with his bois and here is the latest digital capture. IMG_4315.mp4 His first run with the big fellas he started off the back and watched what was going on with them. For this run he started off the back again but the guy in last slid out in one turn and Kai straight up passed the other 2 to get into the third slot and remained there for the next 4 miles. He is really loving shredding pavement. This weekend we will be off to Guanella Pass for the Devils Peak DH race to spectate. This is gonna be a good one on a rough, tricky hill with speeds reaching near 60mph. Ink

If someone has an extra pumper I would be down to join sometime. I haven't ever tried an actual skate set up for pumping. Ink

KarverKai has been getting more and more into DH skating after a year spent freeriding to learn different slides. Well, he has now stepped up his game and is tucking in with some of ColoRADo's top DH skaters. He is not yet really fast but makes gains each time out learning what he can from the Vets. Here is a quick clip from his first day out on one of our local "runs". Ink IMG_3889.mov

Was a blast riding with you and watching you this season. You have come along way since I started filling your head with gibberish. Till I see you on dirt, have fun on the waves. The best part of my day was seeing KarverKai killing it on Hillb's 157 SG. KK has now been inflicted with the "board bigger than you" fever that plagues our carving slopes. Was a blast and we'll be back this coming weekend. Ink
