  1. My tracks from today...what I do when I'm not on the board making the usual tracks in the picture.
  2. Planning on being there on the weekend...just gotta figure out what day. Tempted to skip work on friday... Will be up on Sunday.
  3. Was at Sunshine today...lots of snow. I assume the weekend will be nuts, but midweek, at least today, was quiet...
  4. The following is an add on kijiji in your fine province. http://www.kijiji.ca/v-snowboard-planche-a-neige/ville-de-quebec/planche-alpine-race-sims-burner-188/1212304249?enableSearchNavigationFlag=true I have tried to contact the seller to find out if they will ship to Alberta, but with no luck. Anyone interested in buying and shipping over to Alberta (if it's still available)? Thanks Gary
  5. I'd be up for turning it into a travel weekend!

    Will send you a PM...
  7. Ship the power plates to Canada?  If so, how much to Calgary, AB, postal code T2Y 3K6?

    Thanks!

  8. KPOW...oh, wait...carving, not cat skiing/riding...never mind.
  9. My wife told me that she doesn't like to follow me..."my trenches are a hazard"...
  10. Fatbike in fishcreek on Saturday...oh, wait you mean 'boarding. Hit Nakiska Sunday. The top of gold was bullet proof...not ice (I found that in fish creek...need studded tires), but solid. Once mapmaker levels out it got better. No rocks. Not a lot open yet in terms of runs...they need to get/make a lot more snow on the standard runs.
  11. Hit Nakiska today. Firm packed...good for getting an edge. No ice. Not a lot open tho...made for a lot of meat pylons to go around.
  12. Kurt, I may have some burton 4 bolt discs, but they are quite old and I'm not sure they will work...I used 'em with my old performance plates. I'll track them down and use them as an excuse to come buy something for my fatbike from Bow...
  13. I think they are 27.5 - 29, but let me confirm... ...confirmed.
  14. A pair of Burton Reactors...always too narrow for me so never got a ton of use. No cracks, no broken buckles, no missing parts. See pics for a tear in one of the liners on the inside where I was trying to see if I could make some space. Otherwise the liners are in great condition. Someone needs to give them a good home. SOLD to a very good home.
  15. Does it come with the 1/2 stack in the mirror?
  16. Dropping off stuff to sell last night I went upstairs to take a quick look...I only checked out the longer stuff but there was: '00 167 19cm Factory Prime (with a 1/2 price sunday sticker) '97 167 18cm Factory Prime ~160 either Ultra Prime or Factory Prime (I didn't look close as the '00 167 grabbed my attention) Some with bindings. I dropped off a '97 163 Alp (with the old performance bindings with rails) and some size 10 reactors (the purple ones). Oh, and if you're interested in powder, someone dropped of a ~160 Khyber with a 26cm waist. If it's actually a 165 I'd be tempted to split it...although the 170 would be better.
  17. Cory, bring it to NES so I can steal it and make it a split board...
  18. Sigh, I get to join the club. Season ended a few weeks ago when I went to drive into a toeside. Wound up up washing out and slamming my side into the snow, with my arm up way too high (I really don't know why). Shoulder went *pop*...partially torn pec tendon at the humerus. Did I say sigh?
  19. School break in AB is that week for public schools. Nakiska may just be a little crowded as everyone around bought a seasons pass, but it is the most popular place to carve (wide open, consistent pitch terrain). Sunshine is more 'natural' terrain...funner for freeriding but you can find good carving runs. Best snow IMHO. Lousie is a fun place to carve, I find. Snow not as nice. Haven't been to Marmot in years so can't comment... In the past few years our most wet months have been feb and march (in southern alberta)...I'm personally hoping we start getting some good dumps in feb...Dec and Jan have been pretty dry.
  20. It was good to see you guys and do some riding with you! My daughter was skiing and was complaining about all the ruts, so good job!!
  21. Was out there today...started puking snow at about 3 and they fired up the guns at the top of Upper North Axe. They need it! North Axe was actually pretty good...about four hardbooters (including me) trenching it up.
