Got another liftee telling me that some day they have to try hardbooting because it looks like so much fun...to which I answered "you should, it is". I think I got some applause from the chair as I was carving under it today...or someone was banging snow off of their gloves...I prefer to think I got an ovation...

Liftie, same day: What size are your boots, because if they were 10.5 I'd beat you up and steal your boots and board...those things look fun!!! Same parking lot attendant at the end of the day: Done messing up the runs and leaving 6 inch trenches? You know, I sure like watching you guys, but I can't stand skiing where you've been.

What Mountain are you going to on the 5th? I'm thinking of a skip work and ski day...

Only been to Norquay once...mostly hang out at Nakiska (where all the groomers are), Sunshine, and Louise. What I remember is that the runs are pretty narrow...bringing my 171 around was scary...TREES...COMING...FAST. There is one chair (North American) where I believe you have lots of steeps...I wasn't on that one. The other chairs I found the runs pretty accommodating...other than narrower than I wanted to ride that day. I still had fun! But, yeah, not Louise. Kicking Horse...never been...need to some day...

It was great to ride with you guys again! So much fun, both on and off the hill. Thanks, Steve, for organizing again.

Snow today was great...hero snow in some spots. Took out the Silber, the WCRM, and a new toy...well, new to me...JJA TBX...I've never had a board that looked at me and said "is that all you've got?" before...It'll be there if anyone wants to bring some softies...

Snow was great today too. None of the usual scrape, scrape. Left some nasty trenches on silver n' gold. There was about five on hardboots today... Made the mistake of letting my son try one of my boards...I don't think I'm getting it back.

Going Sunday...bringing hard and soft boots...

Also interested in the power plates and 2nd board kit...if Kurt decides someone else in Calgary should have them... Gary

I'll be there saturday am. I was there sunday too...snow wasn't that bad. The usual high spots get sketchy (i.e. the 'drop' on mighty peace) but the main runs were good. Only hit gold once, but the snow was good up there too. They didn't get that warm this week, did they? In any case, I can give an update. The thing that makes me sad is losing all the snow in fish creek and WBC. I wanna ride my fattie!!!
