  1. This: http://www.bomberonline.com/VBulletin/showthread.php?t=10041&highlight=head+bts and this: http://www.bomberonline.com/VBulletin/showthread.php?t=14297&highlight=head+bts should be all you need. Except a warm place (read: not the parking lot at the mountain) to perform the precise surgery that this operation is. D. ooops, I just realized that D.T. posted these 2 links above.......................................
  2. www.yyzcanuck.com has all of the F2 boards on his site. Might be better to ship from Dave in since he is in Toronto than shipping from Europe $$$$$$$. D.
  3. Check this out, http://cgi.ebay.com/Virus-Race-Carve-Hardboots-Asymmetric-Snowboard-160-cm_W0QQitemZ160201277743QQihZ006QQcategoryZ21250QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Is it a real vintage asym Virus? Never seen one before. D.
  4. If you did put $44,000 you bring in a whole different buyer. The one that, if pursuaded properly that it is a real collectors item, and one that has boatloads of money to dispense with, will buy it because he "has to have it and money is no object". There are lots of people out there that fit that mould. D. p.s. maybe you could have been offered $5000.
  5. If you read the entire auction post, he says that he had to put in a number and so he put in $150. He also says it would vary and should be much less to Canada. D.
  6. With the crazy prices some are paying for Burton on ebay these days, why not give it go? Some people will buy anything if it is offered on ebay. We had a local guy sell a snowbank for $2500 recently. I think it ended up being for a charity but still, ebay facilitated it. And the buyer had to transport it himself. So anything is possible! You go Shred............. D.
  7. Why would someone let an auction end for big bucks when there was no real buyer? The ebay sellers fees would kill you. Just a thought. :D D.
  8. I got my R17 (white with Black graphics, for Japanese market, I believe) a couple of seasons ago. I paid $250 brand new in plastic. I am a heavier rider and I find it a little softer than I normally like. On pow or softer groom with a slightly lighter rider it would be good. Did some people delete posts on this thread? Seems a little confusing. D.
  9. Hey K, I thought you were thinning the quiver to focus on a select few uber-boards........ :D D.
  10. Look at the youtube link at around 3:40. The guy hits the roof of the train upside down with the tips of his skis. WTF!!! That was awesome!! D.
  11. H, I would be up for that........ if we have any snow :( Would someone please sacrifice something to the snow gods to get the white stuff back. D.
  12. Not sure if this is exactly what you are looking for but: http://cgi.ebay.com/RARE-Old-Vintage-Shaped-DUPRAZ-D1-Alpine-Snowboard_W0QQitemZ180203463045QQihZ008QQcategoryZ21250QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem D.
  13. Where do we get one of these "first issue" collectors items? I recently placed an order for some Intec Heels among other bits, so I hope they include one in the box. D.
  14. I am happy to see that you are still able to ride it and are still very happy with it. I was afraid that the pics TVR posted were of a non-functional board now. Is it required to have the plex or other riser plate on the metal boards if you are using TD2's or Catek OS1-2's? D.
  15. Was that a Kessler board in your pics? Is that a crack or a bend? D.
  16. +1 on the broadsword games...... from a fellow Clydesdale Canuck.... D.
  17. I've never had a board so wide but at those angles that board would be hard to turn. Am I right or wrong? I would think that shallowing up the angles would get her on edge easier. Thoughts? D.
  18. Probably the same thing that happens to standard boards when you right angle them, the garbage pail. :D D.
  19. I guess the question has to be asked, do you own the embroidery tape? If so, can you sell it or can you get other items done with the MADD logo? D.
  20. Possibly serious email sent........ D.
  21. Al, would Nevr Dull be a good starting compound before it gets to the mirror finish stage. Did you try to polish further and mess up your work? Or does it make a mess of it that is not easily recoverable? Thanks D.
