I didnt have the same liner in mine... But found a pair of intuition (non wrap) and im much happier. Boot fitter recomended no heat and they took 4 days to feel really comfy. They are tight over the instep and i may do some trimming. What you are experiencing looks odd!

like dave said... what is your ski boot size? If you give hard boots a shot you wont go back. The local crew is awesome and incredibly talented. Can't go wrong coming up to the hill. Edit: sorry I didn't see the bottom of your post. I'm almost exactly the same size and weight and was riding a 156 Burton Fluid on SB. I now ride a Prior 4wd 164 and a Coiler 171 AM-T (20 cm waist). I find the Prior better for choppy days, and have only had 2 half days on the Coiler but it's absolutely amazing. I have a 155 Rossi if you want something to give hard boots a shot. If you ask in the AB forum, I'm sure somebody will have spare bindings and I think Steve (Riceball) has some size 9 boots.

sunshine had a big dump... could not hold an edge at all. Super windy too. Steph slid 50 ft rown a black off continental that was like a pond hockey rink. I didvsome good euro carves nee 1989 burton... Did not recover. Nakiska sunday with a skiing buddy from work. Anybody need room or ride for NES?

Snow was pretty good. Got really warm +8 at the base at 2pm. Really crowded... Had to avoid a crazy on the chairlift. Couldnt sit properly at the load area. Needed to hold bar down up top! Silver was down 30-40 min for maintenance. Coiler felt awesome. Steph got her skis tuned through Lous and she felt fast. Did you try turning it off??? Sounds stressful. Hopefully you sort it out!

Have they opened much other than Gold? It was too congested up there with kid racers the last time we were up. Considering Sunshine for a bit more open space, but undecided. We'll be in Canmore 4th-6th probably hitting different places each day. Happy New Year!
