  1. Yup, spotted that one! My specs? 5ft 6", 175lbs, Mondo 26.5, fit, strong, good technique, raced to a high level in the past, and just about back there... I like variable geometry, but wouldn't say no to a constant 11m-ish sidecut either. Does that help?
  2. Hi there, Is the Red 163 still available? If so, I'll text you for photos. Thanks!
  3. Hi there, are you willing to sell the boards separately? I'm quite interested in the 170, but have never ridden a Rev...I own SG's in 157 & 180, and I'm looking for something in between, with a similar performance. Thanks!
  4. Sorry...I'm not this year...change of job means no more weekends off :( That's the main reason that I need a board this size, is because I work for the airlines now, and they have races on weekdays, which I can make. They race 'modified/Naster-spacing' courses, so neither my 157 nor my 180 SG's are cutting it! DOH! I've just realized who you are 007! Small world!!! See you on FB!
  5. HillB, I'm definitely interested!
  6. BlueB, do you have contact details for Roy? Thanks. Thanks.
  7. I'm looking for a board for modified GS, i.e. NASTAR type spacing. I've been riding a friend's SG 163, and LOVE it, but he needs his baby back. I already own 2 SG's, 157 & 180, so I'm biased, however, any brands considered. Let me know if you have anything suitable! Thanks!
  8. Arden got a Bronze behind Steph in Slalom and a Silver in GS. Utahdeafcarver (Jeff) got a bronze in Legends slalom but sadly blew out in GS where he was definitely a contender! I retained my Kahuna Sbx title but only managed 5th in both Slalom and GS. The inclusion of that youngster Bruce is not making a very tough group any easier!
  9. Cool! It'll be good to catch up on the last year Glenn! Dennis-glad you made the right decision, let's hope we're not racing in a blizzard again like Qualifiers!
  10. Hey Jeff, glad you changed your mind and decided to go! I'll see you there, I'm doing Slalom, GS & defending my Sbx title...and be having as much fun as I can! After 100+ days teaching, it'll be a nice break
  11. Great to see your style and technique again...always a pleasure to watch!
  12. Hi Dennis, Sorry I missed your departure after the race. After they abandoned the Start List Order we got out of synch and I never saw you again, just your times pop up! Crazy weather, racing in a full-blown blizzard! Great to meet you and ride with you, hopefully see you at Nationals! Take care, Martin
  13. No, that's a local guy on a Burton FP...I'm pretty easy to spot as A) I'm usually the only Black Snowboarder on the hill and B) unless it's a tue/wed morning, I'll be in soft boots in a red Instructors uniform!
  14. PC is stunning today, blue skies and 2" on top of great hard pack, hopefully ride with you Tuesday morning! Looks like they are forecasting 4-7" on the day of the race!
  15. Cool, I'll have the morning free on the Tuesday and plan to ride the snot out of my SL & GS boards, hitting the NASTAR too, so that would work. I'm pretty bummed we now only have one qualifier for Nationals, looks like it'll be a double points event as there is no way we will get 2 x SL & 2 x GS, x 2 runs each done before dark! Text me on four three five, six five five, one six four nine nearer the time!
  16. Let me know too, I might pop over for the day!
  17. I'm based at PC, and will be around for both races. I'm free riding the morning before the race on the 29th, on my SL & GS boards. As for Brighton, I'll have been off hards for 3 weeks, so may well ride my Sbx dependent on the course setting. Drop me a line if you want to make some turns on the 28th, or we can chat at Brighton. David, it was great meeting you and getting a morning riding together! You were looking great on that cool Coiler!
  18. I'm running an Instructors Clinic @10, so that gives me an hour to play. But for the sake of ease swapping over I'll have to be in softs...but I'll bring out the Oxess and we can make some turns if you're out early. Send me a text in the morning!
  19. Sorry, I've ridden here 12 seasons and wouldn't go in there safely without another 36"+ dump! Still sketchy in the trees.
  20. If you want to get in touch for some local knowledge, my number is 435-655-1649. A fellow carver I know has a couple of spare tickets going for half price. His name is Fred (941) 400-9467. Hope we get to make a few turns together!

  21. I'm really enjoying riding with the various BOL'ers that have passed through Park City on the hunt for snow... John was the latest. We had a good little crew yesterday morning, glad I got to get my SG out for a few turns! Good times. John...Great hanging out with you and your buddy. Thanks for visiting!
  22. Ace and Softbootsailor...couldn't have put it better myself.
  23. It was cool to get a few runs in with you guys before my lesson (sorry I had to be in soft boots!). Missed some great carving conditions but at least the 4 day lesson ended with a 4-figure tip!!!! Have fun Scott...the snow coming is being talked about in feet rather than inches!
  24. See you guys tomorrow! Hopefully we can ride Wednesday.
  25. Can't see much of the run, but check out the enthusiastic crowd!
