  1. Got the right boots 299mm but they came with size 8 (mondo 26.5) liners and I need 27.5. If you have any in new or like new shape let me know. Shipping would be to the Netherlands Thanks!
  2. I'm not a native English speaker, but I always imagined "y'all" being short for "you all", so plural.. Also I'm still learning to carve so no nice comments on my cornering. Yet.
  3. Okay, that clears up where I can / need to cut. Is this something I do before I start heat-molding the flo liners?
  4. This is indeed what I notice right now, in the Flow liner, my toes are against the front fabric so I guess the 'give' might come at the heel, to give my toes more room lenght-wise? So let's say I'm not using the cat, but the box cutter.. do I actually cut slits on the inside of my liner? I'm a little confuzzled, won't I be wrecking the material? Should I be doing this before, after, or instead of molding? So many new questions
  5. Thanks. I also plan to use my toe socks (socks with separate toes), which give space between my toes. Thanks for the toilet paper tip! I will probably read up more and try mold in the weekend
  6. I've never heat molded myself.. that's why I'm checking if it's a viable option before trying. From the interwebz I understand that I have to: 1. Heat up rice in big socks with the microwave 2. Put these in the boots with liners and let them heat up 3. Put toecaps or 2 toe parts of old socks on my feet and put on socks over these 4. Take the rice socks out of the boots and put in my feet 5. Rest in standing position and let the liners mold around my feet I do know I need toecaps or something similar to create enough room for my toes but will have to experiment How often can liners be molded?
  7. Hi guys! Last question I had boots that were too big. I managed to get my hands on the "right" shells, but the Flo liners inside are a little too tight length wise. It's the 299mm UPZ shell with size 8 liners. I'm a mondo 27.5 and barefoot in the shell I have a good 1.5fingers left. Is there anything quick and easy to do to slightly increase the length of the sole? Would thermo molding work for that? Thanks!
  8. Hi there! Why are you looking for length in a beginner board? My personal experience is that taller boards generally result in larger turns and therefore higher speeds (unless you know how to bend them to your will, literally). Idk what your background is but when I started out I got more out of a shorter board, like 160 or 170, than anything over that.
  9. Thanks a lot guys, all these tips really help. I will check out what liners and footbeds are available near me and will try visit a shop in the coming weeks!
  10. I don't use any footbed, and no moldable liners. Currently using the stock rc10 liners. Footbeds I thought were mostly for more comfort. Would they also possibly help my slight fitting issues? The stuff you linked at Tognar does seem to ship world wide so will definitely have a look at that. Thanks!
  11. Hi guys, So I get to ride only a week a year in real snow when we go on holiday to Austria or Italy. I bought a pair of UPZ's second hand 3 years ago and have been riding them with pleasure. However they are slightly too large in terms of mondo size. I think they're the mondo 28 model but my feet are more of a 27.5. Due to the fact that I don't get to board much (I do indoors sometimes here in the netherlands), I couldnt afford to get brand new ones in exactly my size. As I already explained, I have been riding with pleasure, no sore spots or sore legs with these boots. But I feel that I could maybe get more control if I were able to have my boots a little tighter in certain places. Any creative ideas? It's mostly in the mondo size (slightly), and on the buckles on my shins/calfs (I have rather thin lower legs and around my ankles). I know the obvious answer is to get new boots and have them fitted but that's a €600ish option where I live. I'm hoping to just get that little bit more out of the boots I currently ride for a lot less. If its impossible then that's an answer too, just hoping y'all can think about this with me. Thanks!
  12. Sounds like we need a sticker big enough to cover the entire board :D
  13. The Stickers found their way to the Netherlands.. Will stick one on my Coiler as well
  14. What's the size mentioned on the shells?
  15. That is one beautiful board, I'm surprised it hasn't sold yet. I'm still too new to the whole hardboot scene and already have too many boards I can't really ride.. Good luck with the sale, this board deserves to be shown off on the slopes!
  16. I use a decent helmet and I use writs braces inside my mitts. I bought a simple vest with spine protector but haven't used it yet. Never had any big dives or accidents when snowboarding, but reading the comments here I might start wearing my spine protector the coming season..
  17. Nice looking board, love the top sheet!
  18. @forrest, I tried clicking the link to the google doc to add my email address (at least I think that's why you posted that link), but I seem to need permission for that. Should we PM you our email addresses instead to get the notification?
  19. I researched the numbering system on here before, and from what I understood, the sidecut is not part of it.. T 174 NFC VC 016AC - 6.5+9 T for Titanal |174 cm length | NFC Nirvana FreeCarve | VC Varial Camber | 016AC built in 2016 + customer initials | 6.5 flex | +9 decamber Correct me if I'm wrong ? EDIT: Got my info from @arneburner in this topic

  22. Left to me looks like it has better contrast and therefore better depth.. but hard to see on a screen instead of "in the flesh".
