  1. Have some 0* rings I'll never use. Sell? Trade? Shipping from 90503
  2. New board purchase is driving sale. Make me an offer. No room in quiver/girlfriend says "if a new board comes in, one has to go." Help save my relationship and score a sweet deck at the same time. Bindings/whatever/let's make a deal!
  3. I'll make it easy joe. You can have the xt back. I'll get the FC 167. And we can have visitation rights?
  4. We are working on it... socks/bikes/video... Could be viable... Stay tuned
  5. Thanks sharpshooters/Mammoths own camera guys and gals. Sadly, at $60+ dollars for one picture, I decided gram grabbing the online preview was the next best thing. Those guys would make a fortune at $10-20 a pic. Let's hope for a great season
  6. That's a nice one. But I have a custom Donek twin 163 I had made last season. I'm looking for a an older metal coiler over 20cm waist preferable. But appreciate the offer
  7. Any Bomber interested in coming to our place in Torrance the afternoon/eve of Nov 14 is welcome. Starting at 2:00pm we will have basic food and beverage in a kid friendly backyard setting. Bring your gear. Benches set up, wax and scrape and just be stoked for the up coming season. Pm me for details and address. Cheers!
  8. Went out today for a short stint. Took a fall too. Thank goodness I was wearing one knee pad on my leading leg(although I do pump switch 10% of the time) lucky to not eat it harder as I was really getting after it. Going out tomorrow morning for redemption.
  9. 165 FC custom. Check the thread in for sale. Video link is I. Softboots on man made west coast ice... I'll ship it for the price listed
  10. snowmatic=ignore. Hard to do with such a bad attitude all the time
  11. I also plan to bring along a diamond stone and an edge file as well. Nothing makes me cringe more than seeing them using a rasp file at a 45* angle at one of the tool benches. Well that and dragging their board across the parking lot
  12. I say start simple. Take whatever they currently ride, lose the "quack stance" and get them into positive/positive angles. As simple as taking the guy/gal with +15/-15 to +21/+12. It's the easiest way to change the mindset without even removing bindings. Just have them try it for a couple runs. This season, I have a date with several level 1/2 instructors to do just this. No boots, no boards. Run what you brung
  13. New from last year Donek twin and saber. Oxy shogun 170 still waiting for a pow day. Old faithful Donek (currently for sale). Coiler 169 for cruising. And new to me demo 175 rev.
  14. My doneks have inserts centered. It stems from the Burton three hole boards I rode the most. Always had at least one insert exposed behind both bindings
  15. Meant to post this in carving community. Little help here as I can't delete it.
  16. We all know angles are certainly a preference but no one really talks about where they mount up from tip to tail. I have a theory and it has worked well for me especially since I have ordered custom boards allowing me to place the inserts where I want them. My formula is this; 1.Find center of effective edge/tip to tail. 2.From there locate my preferred width. 20-20.5" alpine or 21.5" freestyle/BX 3.Hope inserts allow bindings to be centered. 4. Set angles Really simple and has worked well for me as I am front foot heavy/dominant. Interested to hear opinions and ideas. I know that being in the back seat(setback) really feels weird for me. I can't understand how some of these kids are riding these pow boards with no tails...
  17. Other than Breesomatic and myself, I don't know anyone else going to the Aspen Trenching Convention. I am driving and will be leaving LA late Thursday/early am Friday. I have an awd minivan and can carry anyone's second/third boards if interested. Also anyone that would want to carpool with me is welcome. Hit me up here if you have plans to go. Season is around the corner.
  18. Boots are packed and ready to go out in the morning. 2 pair of socks. One medium 6.5-9.5 and one large 10+
  19. Great advice. I recently changed boots and had to do this with several boards. I found that th 5* of splay I have been using was a bit uncomfortable. Nice to re evaluate things and find some comfort before hitting the snow. Thanks
  20. Thinking of doing my saber in metal... Hmmm? Oh the possibilities
