  1. That would be awesome Bryan. Sorry to chime in but it was tough seeing correspondence with a good friend that had passed late last year. Respect to all of our friends carving on the other side...
  2. Miss you Shannon! Hope the bike trails and Powder are sweet in Heaven brother.
  3. Treated leather lasts. Longer than Kevlar, or floor tiles or tool dip or whatever. Buy quality leather and treat them often. That is all....
  4. Try the angles. Center up on the eff edge. I'm using flow nx2 fusion bindings with max forward lean. My board is a vsr 9-11 than the standard 11-14 so it's still very nimble. But stiffer than a standard Donek saber with less rubber.
  5. Just canted. I don't spin the td-3 based on the power plates. Now if Fin would turn the power plate into a binding base like a Catek FR.... Then we would be in business. I'm prototyping one this summer if he doesn't
  6. 27/18 at 21.5" Power plates with 3* inward cant on both feet
  7. Hey snowmatic. Eastern Sierras USA. In softboots.
  8. Brought some vintage and brought my three go to boards Hope someone helps me fend off rain and all the park rats this weekend.
  9. I don't have boots in that size. But I have tons of gear and I'm bringing it to Mammoth this weekend. Trying to get some level 2 instructors to try alpine or at least experiment with positive stances or carving in general. 310 two four 5 7 2 nine 1
  10. Thanks. Definitely going. Have a carpool buddy but don't want to carve alone... Anybody?
  11. Post tax riding. I'm going if there is anything left. Anyone interested? Leaving Torrance Friday late or dark thirty Saturday morning. Room for carvers and no snivelers. Swagger wagon with room for 180's in the roof box. May have cheap lodging. Need commitments and not maybe's. Who is in????
  12. I have a couple softy carvers you could try. extra bindings and MP26. located in Torrance. leaving this afternoon for central cal coast so let me know...
  13. Would be nice. Just renewed my pass. If there is anything worth carving, I'll be up on the 18th/19th otherwise it's storage wax for the quiver...
  14. I have a 2010/11 185 sg full race titan. Canadian Team Member board ridden as a daily driver. Not raced. Vist inserts and rash to go with it. One small ding on topsheet at the tail/epoxied. I rode it twice. More board than I need. All trades welcomed. Ships from 90503. Photos added tonight or emailed on request. Felice lance at g mail dot com Looking for: JR size boards/gear for my son/9 26-27mp boots/heels Boards/bindings for 200lb rider XL outerwear.
  15. LDP is more like snowboarding. The carver trucks are fun at low speed but get sloppy with speed and are inefficient at speed. Search LDP. A lot more fun and more directly related to a slalom style of riding
  16. Just make it the home of all softboot specific content Including bx. A great idea would be to have a crossover area where a couple topic/threads' content were available on both forums. For those tolerant and empathetic enough to embrace one another's boot/binding preference...
  17. Not one of his more acclaimed roles... But the liquid rub on works great for a day if applied liberally. Carrying the puck is recommended

    Price? Pic? Bueller?
  19. I've been on flow since 95' great bindings... Score
  20. Yesterday at Mammoth, softboots and one very Magic Donek saber(thanks Sean)165/ 9-11 vsr/25waist/stiffer and 1/2 the rubber... were hooking up big time. I spent the previous day on my coiler with a 4mm boiler plate and had a fantastic time but the conditions called for something different. Narrow minded thinking is just that. I left a particular facebook group because of poor and righteous attitudes... Starting to feel that a bit here. 2017 SES... I'll be there. On softies... And probably a twin of my saber as I plan to ride this one into the ground. Hope you all have a great spring season.
