  1. Horrible frame grab from my laptop but you get the picture.
  2. This is the new binding, you can see the upper portion of the highback has been removed from the right binding and placed on the left
  3. I have been on flow for 20 years and can attest to the great years and the poor ones. Flows latest iteration of the NX2GT is nothing less than amazing. I have the privilege of owning a pair of next years bindings. (Thanks Lucien) the straps are twice as plush and beefy from previous years. I have been able to break the strap on several of my other NX2's and Fliw is more than willing to send replacements. Usually a phone call and photograph via email is all that is necessary. Thunder is a great guy running warranty and is extremely responsive. Just don't expect white straps to arrive for your white bindings... Agreed that the carbon in the highback is a joke but being able to reposition the upper wing of the highback is great. I always swap and rotate/lift these from right to left so I get more engagement on the highback on heelside. Heel cup drag just doesn't happen with these. Paired with bomber power plates, it just doesn't get better... As for the easy in/out.... I too experience the lack of ease and usually have to loosen and relighted the ratchets on my back foot often. Lucien and I spoke at length and in 2017/18 the Eva footbed will no longer restrict that entry. All in, I'm flow for life. They offer the most rigid connection to the board without being in hardboots and the lack of a heel cup keeps my heelside carves nice and deep without boot out... Thanks again FLOW!
  4. Brooke is right. I know I'm out for Easter as we are doing another scouting trip to Denver
  5. Just picked up a 2014 sg163 pro team 167 Donek free carve/wide 23.5 waist 175 Donek rev with f-plate Trusty Donek saber... I have extra power plates/heels/etc... If I'm not on it... Ride it.
  6. SNES... Probable 3/5-3/6 Probably staying at Boulder lodge Saturday night. I'll be up with the kids. Chris?
  7. I'm in. Never saw the post. I know that Brooke and Carlo wanted to be a part but he is out of town that weekend. I will have my kids in tow but they can make it around the mountain pretty well these days
  8. What about 3/12 3/13? Anyone? Neil?
  9. Have been able to spread a ton of EEKOE love here at ATC. I know I have not gotten to everyone but to those of you that have received a pair and tried them and like them, please post a photo as you gear up over the next few days and post it on Facebook or Instagram with an @EEKOE and an @aspen trenching convention. Thanks everyone for sharing the trenching stoke!
  10. I don't know how the compare however I tried Union factory after I had a strap break. Yes parts break occasionally. I'm 215 and push hard...and the unions were supposed to be super stiff. I dug the heel cup in the snow every heel-side and found that no matter what I did to adjust the highback to the heel cup, I could not get them to align properly. I am on next years Nx2Gt standard and will have them on snow at ATC on a modified Donek saber with Bomber power plates if any one wants to give it a go

  12. Hybrid is slightly softer feel than the standard. The nx2gt is the closest I have ever felt to wearing hardboots. I have been on them for 20 years including the prototypes. I ride R&D for them.
  13. That's interesting Corey. I just sold the two Boilerplates that I owned. I have spoken at length with Everret privately and he thinks the F-plate will be the most beneficial. I like the feel but last year, didn't have the legs or proper technique. I have found my groove and know that an isolation plate hinders more than helps my style of riding. The rev that I have does not have 4x4. I bought it that way and got an incredible deal on it as a result. I wouldn't be against t-nutting it for all-flex if I had to as I got it for such a great price. This is a work out the kinks board for me in a size I feel comfortable on. I have a wide FC glass 167 (23.5 waist) that I absolutely love. Leaving to drive from So-Cal to Aspen tonight... Woo Hoo!
  14. I didn't know bomber had a semi isolation plate?
  15. Will demo both f and af plates this week.
  16. Sorry for your loss Bryan and the loss of one of our own. Like the seasons of the year, so are the seasons of our lives. Hope he is getting his carves in on the other side.
  17. I scored a demo 175 Donek rev that I have not yet ridden this past summer. It only has UPM inserts. I am 210lbs and consider myself an aggressive free carver. More bomber style than EC. I like very turny boards so this is my "let it run" board. I have ridden boiler plates and know what they do and feel like so I'm looking for more "feel" as this board requires some type of UPM plate. T-nutting to 4x4 or all-flex isn't going to happen. Unless it really makes sense. Which Donek plate should I go with? F-plate or AF-plate? I have been known to break things...need input ASAP! Thanks!
  18. Bump. Both plates will be at ATC. Make me an offer. I need to move these. Make me an offer!
  19. I'm currently riding this 167 FC 23.5 waist. It was a demo however it seems to have been built for me. It suits me well. I prefer the wider carvers with relaxed angles and this board is amazing 10.5-12.4 Vsr is perfect. All glass. I have come to trust Sean and his team at Donek.
