  1. Now we need Bomber to develop a softboot binding that's the BOMB! Like integrated power plates with a rear entry power triangle binding like flow. Droool... hi my name is beta.... tester
  2. Well my 2¢. 21/9 freestyle. Terje 27/12 free ride. CK 33/18 BX freecarve softy stances that work for me...
  3. Very happy that Bomber is making things official and that people will have a place to go and gear to try/buy! Melancholy that "The June Carver Classic" might go by the wayside as a result. I came on board with alpine and Bomberonline when it was referred to as SNES and always wondered why a California event was called Sierra Nevada Expression Session. Well, fast forward several years later to last March and we had about 25 carvers at June. Heck we even did our own dinner, demo's and had a few first time carvers. Thanks to the efforts of Several including: Brooke and Carlo and Eric Diem (Head Patrol and fellow Carver at June) for catering to us. I just hope it doesn't die off. Officially unofficially...
  4. Was good snow today but the traffic pattern of the ever flowing river was ridiculous. Never a gap. Just a constant flow of average or below skiers and riders
  5. I'm just sitting here waiting for Beckman AG to chime in and confuse me... truth is, I always appreciate the knowledge and expertise(or opinion) offered up by everyone. We all need more snow!
  6. New to me... 164 Custom 200lbs 185 Custom 200lbs super excited to run the 164 in traffic. Even more so, to run the 185 with no traffic.
  7. The strap and ratchets are far more cushioned from 15/16 to 16/17. Expect a redesign in the next season or two. Rode my old nx2gt with the more basic strap. Had a great time
  8. Strictly camber here. i have been rotating high backs and braking base plates for years! Always chalk the heel edge (or toe if you prefer) into the snow to strap in. I do back off the strap when I step out to make getting back in easier and give them a few clicks as I like my softies reefed down nice and tight. i love the rear entry convenience and the power of the "triangle" that flow offers but it's the lack of a heel cup that drags in the snow that is the real feature with flow. The only other softboot binding I use on occasion and absolutely love is the nidecker carbon 900. Also has a heelcup design that doesn't drag in the snow like 95% of softboot bindings out today
  9. That's what I have done and so have a few others. I feel it on my front foot/heel side.

    Yo Lci!!

Heading up tomorrow but probably to abay as I want to save those 4 packs for more terrain
  13. 3* both feet on power plates i run td3's/ standard and side winders with 6* front foot pure toe lift from 45-60* depending on board and 3* pure canting on rear from 40-55* just got some f2 infection titanium to run on my new to me Kessler 164 wc sl i use Upz 27 with step in
  14. My custom saber has power plates. I have not used them on pow yet. Pow board is a Fullbag Diamond Blade with NX2-GT 3 degree pure inward canting on both feet. 33/18 at 21.5" centered. As inserts on my soft boot boards are always centered on eff edge. Flow has been good to me and I am on this seasons NX2-GT a season early. my saber is 24.8 waist. 9-11m vsr. Extra stiff and half the rubber of a standard saber. This board is magic. I am in the Ruroc helmet/Blue Jacket/Blue Donek Saber starting at 1:05 My next custom Donek will be a Flux with the same layup.
  15. Flow NX2-GT standard not hybrid add power plates from Bomber! put them on a Donek saber or flux. Add stiff softies like Flow Talon... ride it like you stole it!
  16. Thanks justmattjill123. Can't wait for the Kessler to arrive...
  17. How much for the rev 163. No plate
  18. You often see the park rat kids not wearing gloves during the spring. Exercising the "skate" feeling I assume. Last year I did a full afternoon on plates without gloves at all. Something I would recommend everyone try even if only one run. It will tell you very quickly how much "outrigger" you are actually using...
  19. Yep. Size 27 and lower will struggle a bit with UPZ.
  20. The blue saber for riding with non-alpine friends. The Rev for when it's alpine time. I trust both when the cord is hero!
  21. So why aren't we all ambidextrous Mongo pushers?
  22. In an oddball. Left eye dominant, regular foot. Forced right handed by parents. Grandpa was ambidextrous and I am able to do many things equally well right or left handed. Guns right handed...pool and archery left handed... surf regular and fairly well goofy. I do ride directional stance on all my boards (twin/freestyle) Magic stance is 21/9 on the freestyle at 21.5 centered on eff edge 33/18 with 3* inward cant on both feet on BX at 21.5 centered on eff edge (my daily driver) 45/40 on am hardboot 6* toe lift/3* rear cant at 19 3/4 centered in stock inserts 60/55 on alpine specific / same as above

    A-Basin

Taking the dog to the vet took precedence. Followed by a visit to the dentist. Weekend warrior it is....
  24. Tire kickers go to the end of the line. Serious offers move to the front of the line. Try to be polite and answer questions but cash talks...
