This is a brand new, never ridden, precision all mountain carving board, suitable for someone wanting a fast, go anywhere carving board. Also suitable for highschooler wanting a race board, but doesnt want to commit to such a narrow board. you can read reviews on this board at Bomber online, a race, carving website. These are very expensive boards, and hard to get a hold of. The board is extremely light due to the high carbon fiber content in the construction. Very beautiful board. You can see this board at the Sports LTD swap this weekend! Can show locally, or call at 530-949-4102 This is not a freestyle board! If your not serious about speed and serious carving it is NOT for you! These boards retail for over $600. new. 5. ...and I thought I was!?! Happy Carving! PS- Is Thanksgiving the "official" carving holiday?!
  6. I looked at my calendar and I was on the snow 50 days last winter... That's ~ an hour each way travel... Oh why did you make me do that?! :( Note: many of these were drive an hour, ski two hours, drive an hour back. uggh.
  7. Got the boots on my feet... thanks again. PS- @oldsnowboards... no worries mon... I've got 245+ pounds on a 6'4" lever I really don't think I will have problems flexing the boots. Actually wearing them I can tell you this is the case.
  8. I don't even have a pair... ...yet. They are on the delivery van! W00t! :)

  11. ...now your just rubbing it in. Projected opening here 12/19. :( Carve it up!
  12. Ummnnn... it wasn't a question and why would I make it a poll? It is an offer to trade a smartphone and $$ for a board. Thanks.
  13. I just thought of this... I need a board you might need a global smart phone??? A match made on BOL. Could be partial trade and $$ for the right board. What kind of board? something in the 167 to 178 range, stiff and at least a 19+ waist width. I'm a big guy. This post outlines my size issues. :) Thanks BOL community! I have a Touchscreen Samsung Saga (i-770) with full qwerty keyboard that just sits in a drawer. (Work pays for my phone and it has to be a Blackberry.) This Smartphone sells New on Verizon for 449.00. (One of their few Global phone choices that also does Wi-Fi) _____________ The phone is in like new condition with no scratches on the body or the screen. The phone comes with a data cable, software and a charger. This is a powerful business phone (Windows Mobile 6.1) that is fully updated with the latest software from Samsung which unlocked the GPS to be used by third-party software. If you download the Sky-Fire browser this phone handles Flash websites as well (try that with an iPhone) and you can Skype over Wifi! It also works with MS Office documents and has the ability to Remote Desktop. (I bought this phone for overseas travel and I don’t foresee traveling overseas again anytime in the near future.) _____________ Read more here: http://www.engadgetmobile.com/2009/0...-samsung-saga/ It is on Craigslist for $140.00 right now and I will reserve the right to sell it locally if that comes first. Thanks! :) PS- I'm lonbordin on ebay I have over 210 transactions and had an 100% rating but I have not done any business there for a year so I currently do not have a rating but you can still read my comments... just so's ya know I'm a stand-up guy.
  14. As a noob here I felt it was my responsibility to read and then read some more... There is so much greatness about the information here at BOL... well it is just fantastic. Banning for bad advice... NO... like the folks before me mentioned... people have to learn to dissect what they read to find what works for them... whether it be soft vs hard (boots or boards take your pick) or whatever. There is no right answer or the only way. That said there is some pretty extreme viewpoints presented and it sure would be nice if the people representing the viewpoints at least acknowledged that they are way out of the norm. Misrepresenting items for sale I see in a whole another light. Even in my limited time here I have seen some very shady dealings by a select group of people both here and on ebay (yup, the same people.). It has a legal name... it's called fraud. I don't think BOL should "advertise" fraudulent merchandise. I'm not sure a ban is called for but when a very tired race board is advertised as "new" then maybe at the least the ad should be removed by the admins. (worst part I have several examples and I haven't been here that long ) Caveat emptor certainly applies!
  15. Fin- That sure was a hell of a lot of work just to make a handle. :D
  16. un-uh... no way. Surf's up!
  17. That hat's a two for one for you... your woodwork is sweet!
  18. I think I could (maybe) make two turns before I was at the bottom on that thing... whoa.
  19. ...of shipping +$30.00 for it to 47401. I have a project I'd like to try with that problem child of a snowboard. Yes, this is a serious offer.
  20. @Dan H- TWO ski hills in Southern Indiana! Paoli Peaks and Perfect North With step-ins I never stop... heck I click in coming down the lift exit ramp... when you spend more time on the lifts than you do on the snow you learn to appreciate the speed of the step ins... If someone tells me I can boot into a regular binding this quickly then maybe I'd be interested! I've got the boots and bindings are next... (Anyone want to offer me some) With regard to board... I agree! I'll hard boot on my current boards until the right board comes along. Thanks for the input! Back to the show.
  21. ...not mine... burton snowboard carving factory prime step in boots ---OBO--- - $325 (prescott) Burton Factory Prime and Wild Duck Knifer Snowboards CHEAP! - $150 (Morrison) the "best" for last VOLKL Racing Snowboard, Equipment, and Gear from Estate Sale - $700 (Queens Area of Jackson) who died?!
