The shape is the same as the race model (Full Race). This model (Full Carve) is without titanal. In Europe the Full Carve is 625Euros compared to 975Euros for the Full Race Titan (the Full Race Pro Team (limited edition) is 1100Euros). There is no 185 length in the Full Carve line. Only in the Full Race lines. The longest Full Carve is 180.

Yes, Anke Karstens was on a Sigi plate. And I guess Sigi himself as well. Erlacher was on an Apex. But all in all there were not many "floating" plate systems around.

About the plates - Almost half the finalists were still on Vist plates (men and women). Men´s winner and runner up were on Vist plates. That got me wondering ... The women´s winner didn´t even have a plate!?! (But she was also the only one without a plate ...) Nothing new - Karl still on his metal frame monster, Prommegger (he got third) on an Apex. Unfortunately JJ didn´t make the finals ...

Here is the new lineup. The RC8 is still available. I think the color is called smoke - so translucent black.

Yeah, you´re right, SunSurfer! But let me dream :D ... Maybe it would be possible to have some kind of custom order. You give your setup wishes and boot size and get the right inserts on your BBP with the toe and heel set from the TD3 Sidewinder ! I´d love that!

Today in Moscow Sigi was using his SG plate. He had the toe and heel part of his TD3 sidewinder mounted directly to his plate without the baseplate. There was some metal between for canting/lift, but no ordinary baseplate. It seems a logical step, right? It makes the system lighter and lower. I hope, we will see similar retail versions soon .

Hans, I don´t think that the first picture is from 2011/12 because I already had this picture on my computer last year. But as far as I know there are not too many changes. Only a new freeride line will be offered.

First info on the line for next year - - Force: there are two 165 models next year with different specs (the S model is narrower and has less sidecut radius). The new Forces are silvery white (with red dots). - Free Solo: there will be a 162 size. - Full Carve: there is a new 150 model. Here is a preview of the new designs - The first picture shows the Free Solo and the Full Carve. The second one shows the Full Race Pro Team (with the red bull), the Full Race Titan (white logo) and the Full Carve (blue/green).

For the "normal" production boards (no customization) the price is around 1000€ (for SG, Apex and Kessler) in Europe. Customs start around 1300€ - depending on what you want/need.

Austrian TV (ORF 1) also showed the PGS live today. Benjamin Karl crushed the competition, using a different line than all the other competitors. Just like in Bad Gastein (PSL) nobody came even close. Pretty impressive ... On Friday there will be the PSL ... can´t wait ...

Thank you all !!! Buell - I know what you wrote about your Kesslers. With the SGs, the 163 and the 170 feel pretty similar - you only feel the bigger radius and the longer edges. The other features (like e.g. the flex) seem to be on the same level. kinpa - share the love :D ...
