  1. F2 - I think that the WCEs are pretty decent boards (I have a 163 SL WCE from 07/08). There are better ones, but they are ok. And now they have a pretty modern shape, although the question is where it came from? F2´s development department? Or ... The specs (waist width, scr, taper, etc.) are pretty similar to the SGs (and maybe also other successful raceboards - I don´t know about their specs (Kessler, Black Pearl)). But I guess that the courses somehow bring you to a certain shape ... So it´s not just the color that changed
  2. SCR - why are you surprised? The SGs of this year also had a much greater radius than before - the 185 has 20,3m this year. According to Sigi Grabner these boards are faster between the gates (and the World Cup proves him right ...). The SL boards also increased their scr ... Head - there were no 08/09 models, right? So will there be any 09/10 ones?
  3. And were they the same as on the site? What waist width? They were not on the old site.
  4. On the new site there are concrete length for SL and GS. Does this mean that there will be a kind of ´production board´? And for a better price than the ´customs´ ?
  5. So is it the same shape concept like Pokkis´ board? I´m really looking forward to your riding impressions ... Are the boards that heavy? Does it influence the everyday performance? Do you need more strength?
  6. This snowboard looks absolutely fabulous. And I also do not want to start a new rocker discussion, but could you post a picture of the board lying on the ground from the side - is it flat or rockered? I assume that the 202 is cambered, right?
  7. Amazing rider - unforgettable style I often have images of Craig Kelly destroying Japanese powder in one of the old Burton movies in my head when I´m riding ... a true icon.
  8. This review is spot on for me. I have been on a Burton Hero (reverse camber called V-Rocker by Burton) and a Burton X8. Both in 155. The reverse camber board is great for powder and doing tricks on the slope like nose- and tailpresses and other stuff. But you can feel that it is not as stable as a cambered board in almost all situations. I guess that many Softboot riders don´t really care about stability and carving abilities because for 2010 Burton does have several V-Rocker boardlinies (even the Custom will be also available as a V-Rocker edition).
  9. That is a very nice offer, but I can´t make Zinal this year. Do you use the plate to get more pressure on the edges or more dampening or more leverage or any other reasons?
  10. Ok, thank you. Can you tell me what advantages the plate has for you? And maybe disadvantages?
  11. That is exactly the reason why I was asking. Racers need to be very effective, so I´m also curious about such things. Have you tried your board with and without the plate? Differences?
  12. I know that a lot of racers (almost all ...) use such plates, but what about ´freecarving´. What is the benefit? Why do you use the plate? And why do many people who are not riding between gates not use them?
