  1. I’ll be working at the Sunnyside chairlift sat/sun, swing by if you think you got the skills
  2. I teach yoga in the morning 6:30-7:30. I should be on the snow by 9:30
  3. soon I’ll know what the fuss is about.
  4. December opening. No snowmaking. Doesn’t sound that great. but I’ll come check it out this year if I have a chance.
  5. Overall skier visits at Schweitzer are up 9.7% over last year. IKON visits account for 9% of the total visits.
  6. Musical Chairs starts to load at 8:30 on the weekdays. 8:00 weekends and holidays
  7. 8:30 Friday start lapping Musical Chairs, I’ll meet you there and show you around.
  8. The conditions this morning were as good as it gets around here for carving. Tomorrow should be the same with way less people.
  9. you missed another one. Hero snow with good visibility. I probably said it 20 times, “you’re not that good it’s the snow”.
  10. Today was the day to be there if your a carver! Squeaky corduroy under beautiful sunny skies. Perfect visibility I left at 10:00 I don’t know what happened after that. Probably got busy
  11. The 4 inches of new we got at Schweitzer last night made things too soft for carving hard. I made a couple more laps with the soft boots but there’s still not enough snow off piece to really go for it either.
  12. We got some snow over the weekend and today the conditions were really nice for carving. A little crowded, still not much open just 2 groomed runs. it gets beat up pretty quick.
  13. So far so good. Nobody likes change but we’ll get used to it.
  14. Opening day at Schweitzer today. I went up and took 3 runs down the Midway 500. Lots and lots of people on that one run I’ll be up there for the opening bell tomorrow and probably down on the 1030 bus
  15. Try and get Art to the Tbar, he’s scared of it and this will be his last chance.
  16. Yeah the whole quiet, lively, damp lingo I’m not sure I understand fully. I use the word stable to describe the Thirst boards, they can handle some variable conditions like an unexpected icy spot or a chunk of bad grooming. This board did everything I wanted it to do. I got my order in. I’m getting one.
  17. Today I road a tesi8. 183 cm long 18.5 waist. Miller told me it was similar to an 8RW but it’s got metal in it. Today’s conditions were really firm in the morning and super soft on the front side at noon. The board worked in it all. What I really noticed about this board is how well I could turn it uphill to control speed and then turn it right back downhill to gain it back
  18. I don’t know anybody that went up today. I’ll be up tomorrow. On the snow at 8:30
  19. I rode up the Stella 6 pack on my break at 11:30 and I didn’t see any ruts on Cathedral Were you guys doing bunny hill laps all day? I didn’t see you guys at the T-bar
