  1. Ok 1st bid 100.00 Moneys tight over xmas wink wink nudge nudge:biggthump
  2. Fastguy's right, it's toughf to find a quality set up at a po'boy's price. so think of it as an auction fee, and feel good about having an unbreakable binder that'll last you forever or till you upgrade, wichever comes 1st:biggthump
  3. don,t mean to threadjack, but yea steve I might get over to lookout this year.I usually ride shorter than that to maximize turns per run my pass is at schwietzer, lots of good cruisers for trenchin'. let me know if you make it up here any time soon i'll show you my favorite spots to lay it over:biggthump
  4. Thanks DB, check is on the way:biggthump
  5. I see 1or2 occassionaly, always on alpines. Saw three together last year (a veritable plethera). But it was a powder day and they wouldn't leave the groomers. Ive never met another hardbooter on an allmountain carver, I really don't understand why, it's the best of both worlds.
  6. throw your technique out window, pivot rear foot angle to affect turn radius. I would love to try it; totally unique. If the delam is only topsheet, epoxy injection may prevent it from progressing; If you can find a thin enough epoxy to get it thru a syringe. Not always successful but worth a try if it's going to be ridden. Killer find, keep us posted.
  7. It reminds me of the "swing-bow" I tried at hyak in '87. It was an elevated binding platform mounted on a split board that angulated like a pair of skis. The angulation bottomed out making it impractical, but experimentation is fun. I would love to try that thing out as that is one toy I have never seen. Anxious to hear how it rides. Do let us know:cool: Does the cable control articulation?
  8. All of us in the great northwest are very jealous:p
  9. I couldn't agree more wave chaser:biggthump
  10. It really blows my mind how all snowboarders think that they are so different from skiers; it's all glisse, it's the same activety, the same fargin sport:argue:
  11. burton has made a few bucks in the last 20 yrs, I'm sure he could scrounge up a few wealthy backers. I can't figure out why he hasn't opened a board only area. Any business has the right to create thier own operational policies; you dont see frisbees on a golf course. I mean really, what percentage 4 ski areas in all of america, it's truly asinign:barf:
  12. What makes a soft hard boot (like raichle123's) different from a stiffer burton SI besides the laces???
  13. I want a couple sheets of those when you get'em printed:cool:    heres another; I don't wear lacey strappy things:lol:
  14. love that quiver!!!! long live the oldfart core:biggthump
  15. cool dsub! I think you got it about right. however for me (6 ft, 180 lb, agressive rider, flexy boots) 11m quadratic sidecut for trees, twin tip ,even med flex, 2-3mm max taper or switch'll be a bitch. oh yea, goofy asym w/minimal shift:eplus2:
  16. Too much fun!!!! I needed a good laugh to tears. skeez is what these resorts are trying to keep out. I'll out ski him forward, I'll out ski him switch,I'll out ski him tele, I'll out ski him on a mono, I'll out ski him on leather & hickory, I'll out ski him on 1 stick or 2 ,forward or backward and if he can out turn me on any thing that slides on snow he'll still be a pompous azs.
  17. Please help me find another pair of these bindings, nitro/fritzi/intecstill hoping for older intecs for xmas, will try to get a pic on here tonight.
  18. I'd give you $50.00 for the binders to put on my 165 escape.? let me know if you'd seperate them.
