  1. Great feedback. At 150lbs I can see it would be work to bend these bad boys!!
  2. Definitely burly boards. The one that surprised me is the Steepwater "Kite 179cm" , it was softer than I expected but road the heavy fresh snow well. It was an early kite board and is really very similar to the better big mountain boards I have ridden.
  3. Cool to see his newest product!!! Wasp like waist line!!
  4. That is a very good price. Yes, I believe the originals are narrower, depends on "S" or "P" model too.
  5. Wish these were size large. I need them to work with MP 28-29 boots.
  6. WELCOME to the Portland area!! We have a small but dedicated group of alpine riders here. Many have ridden alpine for many years. I have a considerable stash of alpine gear, however, I don't think I have your size in boots at the moment. Bryan
  7. Post up a photo please! I think the new Steepwaters are softer flex. I still have some of the early "Steeps" and "Plows" for sale cheap. 171cm They are sandwich construction and burly!!
  8. I do have one left, PM me asap , I have it listed elsewhere now too! Bryan
  9. I see a possible run on old alpine snowboards in the future!! The good news is I saved a few dozen!!!
  10. Do you think you may have hit something or is that just from the surface material?? Did you see others with that much damage???
  11. Spot on Eric! Saw a NOS of the same sell for 650$ and I think that was pretty close to top dollar. This is collectable/ rideable but not anywhere near this price. One of the reasons I stopped riding mine. The Rad Air is more nimble, narrower and better nose radius for the pow IMHO. These are great for the large boot at low angles guy. I would be happy to ride one if Tankers didn't exist.
  12. I am interested. I will see if I have your email handy, if you have mine please email me? Thanks, Bryan
  13. Not sure I understand, isn't that a "T" bar in the background of the photo? Shouldn't be allot of rope burn? If it is indeed a tow rope, in the old days we used a heavy glove sleeve that fit over the normal gloves . I think I still have a pair somewhere. Please explain?
  14. It is best to NOT make personal comments toward other posters while on a "For Sale Thread" . Lets leave it at that. Move on please!!! Good board, good price!!
  15. Mondopoint. The International Standard is ISO 9407:1991, "Shoe sizes—Mondopoint system of sizing and marking", which recommends a shoe-size system known as Mondopoint. It is based on the mean foot length and width for which the shoe is suitable, measured in millimetres. FYI, the focus should be on these are M28 , the shells , both cuffs and lowers have "Range" markings that will only confuse you , especially if MondoPoint is not familiar. Enough to say these are good boots , in good condition from a good BOL member. Feel safe in buying from him.
  16. Somewhat tempting, but like you , I am not sure I am ready to shell out the additional coin.
  17. You must be signed in to vote. Radio buttons allow you to vote. The other possibility is if you have already voted you will not have a button. Hope that helps. Bryan Yes, you voted on March 27 for "Most Terrain"
  18. Nice Jim!!! Great shot. I have heard that they are doing good this season compared to last. Doesn't mean I am going up any time soon , but good to hear none the less!!
  19. expertly done eric!! what is the name of that bike going to be ?? "awe sht" or "OUCHiE" update, thought this was winter bike eric, he posted something very similar.
  20. Wow, what a mess, I hope they can find a way to make this viable? Looks like allot of damage.
