  1. That Johly is super nice!! EARLY Japanese history there folks. I bet it was as hard or harder to ride than the Throwback. Heavy fiberglass with a 3D base. Tricky business. That is a very collectible piece!!
  2. Nice Dan!! Glad you got some turns in!! I knew the groomers would be good after riding Friday with Tinkler , Randy King and Steve Black. It was good but could use a further grooming pass to make ideal!!
  3. I am guessing it is allot higher??? I am excited about the house. It is a bit funky but it is going to be a nice place and I may already have a renter before even listing it!!! I have a 5th wheel camper I might put in the back portion of the yard after I put in a fence about half way back (big yard) Laws are changing to provide "Infill" and perhaps some day I can put a tiny house back there for guests??
  4. Oh, the irony Dan. My "Trailer" is now stacked four feet high with the remnants of a snowboard company. On the other hand I just got the keys to this house and would love to do something in the Air BNB type Theme house style. "House of Oldsnowboards" sort of thing. I don't think I have the time to do it right now but maybe down the road. Currently it is about getting it rented to help pay the loan payments. http://www.zillow.com/homes/for_sale/23237866_zpid/globalrelevanceex_sort/45.631792,-122.633646,45.629774,-122.637294_rect/17_zm/?view=public Anyone want to be my neighbor? 1400$ per month is what I hope to get but I may have to settle for less. It is a pretty cool but small home. HUGE yard!!.
  5. You have a very nice set of FR2s that would go nicely too!!
  6. Great review!! I just shipped off another SW last week, anxious to hear back on his feelings on it. I don't EC but I like the feel of the SW , the fact that it is burly and not a small sidecut fits in with my style / weight. I have one what I use for converts wanting to try alpine that are strong freestyle riders of considerable size and weight. So far they RIP the SW well. Then I put them on a narrow race board and see how they do!!
  7. I have a very special deal for you Boardski!! Email me sir!
  8. I have sold through some of the best condition boards but I still have a few left. 171s and 171p ptex top sheets etc. Most have some damages but are still quite ride-able IMHO. I am keeping the cleanest and will sell the remaining to those interested in giving these a try.
  9. With some modifications I think this is a valid concept. I would lower it, probably turn one of the leaf springs around and incorporate a "Sliding Mount" to one end. Thinner plate, probably without a slit in it to start. Definitely too much leverage against a soft boot set up. I think this has some validity.
  10. Well said Corey and Sun Surfer!!! So early season I decided to use another board to make sure I didn't damage my favorite Tinkler Alpine board. After riding around for an hour or so I was getting banged around and decided the conditions looked good enough to get the board that was set up with a full system plate . It just smoothed it out so well I was back to enjoying the groomers like it was hero snow again!! It works so well , I am spoiled!! Bryan
  11. Are the new and old parts compatible?
  12. Nice display Jim!!! That is a good looking set of boards!!
  13. I would LOVE to attend!! Your "Rub Ins" are hard to take!! I know this is a great group of folks!! Bryan
  14. Nicely done!!! Conditions look awesome. Blue skis, cold, smooth grooming and wide open!! PS You did it justice!! Well done!!
  15. Great looking BX set up Sandy. Should feel pretty light too!! Very high end all the way around!!
  16. I think I may have seen you last week on a carve board?? Sorry I missed you yesterday!!
