Speaking of "straight lining" it really has to be stopped. I see so many kids at my local resort just going straight down the hill at the silliest speeds. It pisses me off so much.
Hey Pat,
Great job there. My father deals with the same BS, i.e., nobody wants anyone 60 years old. Seems they can't take skill into account or the other things that matter. Sounds like you have a good thing going.
I would like a freeride focused mag. One that also recognizes snowboarding's history. NO rails!!! I still can't believe someone came along and decided it was cool to do handrails on a snowboard.
Also, a nice extensive board test would be nice. Like they do in ski mags where they rate a number of skis from the same category.
I like the front of it alot, but looking at it from the side it looks awkward towards the rear. I think its unique, if I was some rich dude I'd take a serious look at it.
I really enjoyed it, thought it was great. Seemed more realistic than past films and Daniel Craig is more believable as a secret agent than Pierce Brosnan.
I got some Oakley A Frames off overstock.com last year for a big discount. Here is a pair they have right now

I have to say I think Bode is a badass. I like how he has that no BS way of doing things. Granted, I wouldnt have partied the night before the biggest race of my life, but....

Did you apply anywhere besides those 2 schools? Boulder has tons of rich kids from CA and has become really crowded, kind of ruining it.
But anyway, yeah you can still get alot of riding in.
Heading for a week to Vail this winter (hopefully)- never been and need some advice on places to stay. Obviously would like to save money but dont want to be in a dump either.
Something just bothers me about duck stances. I guess the fact they are so popular now is a result of the sport becoming so freestyle dominated. Kids now grow up riding the park and hitting rails, never learning how to carve a turn.
