  1. Yeah, this is about the time of year when the spigot gets shut off, but maybe we'll get lucky with the weather -things are looking pretty unsettled at least. Fingers crossed.
  2. Love this post and your stoke Jer! Right on right on!!!
  3. Thanks everyone for the great info and input. I ordered bts in blue/blue yesterday. Looking forward to installing them and checking them out:)
  4. Thanks for the input everyone. Super helpful! Fin, I'm 5-11 and weigh 160 after the holidays (closer to 155 in the summer tee hee). I'll note my height and weight on my order when I purchase my BTS system, so you guys can help get me dialed in.
  5. I'm finding my new Deeluxe 700 boots to be rather stiff (compared to what I've become accustomed to). Are many of you running bts on your 700's? Does it change the "feel" of the 700s quite a bit? Thanks!
  6. Hi EtheF, I was in red today, so it could have been moi. Came across your ride board posting for SV a few weeks ago and I have enjoyed reading about your days. Will look for you on the mountain. Best, Lamby
  7. Thanks Jer, but I just scored some from Ray at Carvers Paradise. Showed this to Laurie and that jogged her memory. She had a nice lift ride with your daughter - she said she is really nice. Fruit doesn't fall far from tree:) Awesome conditions up there today eh? Were you up? If I go tomorrow I'll look for you:)
  8. If you buy used bindings, replace the bail assemblies with new ones.
  9. I'm looking to replace the bales on a pair of Ibex bindings. Does anyone have any new, replacement bales available? I can buy the Ibex toe assemblies at the Bomber store, but they are currently out of stock on the Ibex heel assembly). I'm looking for new only. New, because I want to know that I can get a few years out of them before they break (we seem to get about 5 years out of 'em). Thanks, Lamby
  10. 57 and enjoying the ride.
  11. 700's purchased. Thanks all.
  12. Way too many. Probably less than 1000. Lucky to get off easy:smashfrea
  13. Anyone riding the Deeluxe Free 69T?
  14. Thanks for your thoughts and advice. Greatly appreciated.
  15. I want to purchase new boots from Bomber. Can anyone give me any advice, or give me instructions on how to do a productive "search" for this topic? I'm a strong rider who enjoys everything from hard carving on the cord to chopping thru crud to riding powder in plates. I've been in Raichle 324's most recently, having installed race tongues to stiffen them up. I'm wondering if I want to go with the Deeluxe 700's, 325's, or Free 69t I was thinking I would go with the 700's, because I like a stiff boot, but I understand that the 700's are designed to flex laterally. The type of Deeluxe/Raichle's I've been riding flex fore to aft. I'm not sure if I would like the lateral flex of the 700's. Anyone out there have any feedback - did you go from 325's to 700's and like the change, or dislike the change in feel? Michelle at Bomber has been super helpful in helping me get many questions answered, but I thought I'd reach out to others in the community to see if anyone has any recommendations. Michelle informs me that if I want to go with the fore/aft flex type Deeluxe that I might also want to consider the 69t, as it is stiffer than the 325's. Any thoughts friends? Thank you in advance! PS-perhaps I should not be so hung up on looking for stiff boots, but in the past I've liked the feeling I get when I've gone to stiffer set-ups. Any arguments out there for a less stiff boot set-up?
  16. My boots failed last season. At one point during the day I thought my riding had gone to hell. "Why can't I ride well now", I thought to myself. When I got home later in the day and took my boots off and something didn't look right. The heal on my boot was cracking off. I'm such a cheapskate - I should have replaced my boots a long time ago, but I got off easy and didn't have a catastrophic failure causing me to wreck.
  17. Thanks Ian, I'd like to purchase them and go with the least expensive shipping option please.
  18. Hi Ian, Are you the original owner (did you buy them new?) Thanks, Chris
  19. Right on Art. Carl was an amazing guy. May his spirit live on through us and how we treat each other out there.
  20. Thanks for the feedback Bryan. Not interested in the step-ins. I'm trying to decide if I want to go with TD3s or sidewinders. I think I will be going for the TD3s. lamby
