LeeW
Thought I'd start a nice thread with members posting photos of their motorcycles. Will post my '01 Husqvarna CR250 eventually. Im just curious with the others' bike, and hopefully, some of 'em do dirt-biking, too.
willywhit
Lee, Is your Husky a 4 stroke ? I've got a Suzuki RMX 250 done up for woods riding but haven't fired her up in awhile.Been spending alot of time kitesurfing instead in the frigid waters of Cape Cod.The wife wants me to liquidate the moto stuff but, NO WAY ! I'll be back on the trail every sunday next fall. Too many toys, not enuf time, plus my old riding crew has disbanded and they're busy having kids and getting fat. Braaaaap ! 2 strokes ! trikerdad
"holy understeer" Actually, it handles very well. You can't gas it and try to turn from a dead stop but once you're moving it sticks like glue. I've pushed it as hard as I can on mountain roads, both paved and dirt, and it hasn't surprised me yet. I'd love to test it on a skid pad to see how it compares to modern sports cars.
M.Nash
Glad to see that others like to ride. I have 98 ducati st 2 , 05 ktm 250 exc all set for Enduro's, 03 yamaha yz 250 set up for the woods ( for sale) 00 Honda cr 250 and a bunch of old husky's. Does anyone do any woods racing (NETRA) ? The frame has magnesium in it so it burns and the seat cushions degradate to hydrogen cyanide gas when they burn!!!!!
trikerdad
No magnesium in the frame and all foam rubber puts out poisonous gas when it burns. Fieros did have a problem with engine fires when they first came out but it was corrected with a recall. All Pinto's are death traps waiting to explode! Even though there were a couple billion miles put on them before anyone realized they were unsafe. And besides, who's affraid of death by fire when riding a "murdercyle"? You believe what you will-I know firemen won't try to put out Fiero fires-I had a friend who had hers stolen and was told the same thing my ex- told me.... BTW, firemen love putting out fires... ar(angel
My favorite out of all my bikes (only because I built the damn thing!) Found pic's of my Hurricane awhile ago, but somehow didn't take pic's of my other 8 or 9 bikes. At least now I know why Bill's handle is "Trikerdad"....:D Have fun, Paul
Guest Randy S.
Speedzilla, nice Motard. Here's a pic of my son on a tarded fiddy from one day at the track last summer. What a squid, eh? No gear, just a skateboard helmet. If his mother saw this, I'd be dead. And here's one of my track bike being ridden by a friend (he forgot his track bike keys that day and it took until noon to find someone to drill out the lock - ha!). Some of you might recognize the sticker I put on the mid-fairing after I painted my track plastics (rattle can paint jobs rule!). This is in turn 2 at Buttonwillow. I'll have to look for a picture of my VFR. Somewhere there's a picture of me riding it at Sears Point (aka Infineon) the first time I ever road on a track (last April). Chris Houghton
My wife insists that her bike be stored in my office during snowboard season. Good bike for slalom work, for GS and Super G I have a Blackbird (also in the office during snowboard season).

CarvCanada
What the ##### is a Husqvarna for !? A street dirt bike?!?! I don't know all that much about motorcycles, but I know enough to know I'm a huge fan of the Ducati Monster. I'd only ride one if I lived somewhere like California though, which will not happen!
