Popular Post Pokolikrat Posted March 5, 2021 Popular Post Report Share Posted March 5, 2021 Probably for me to be accurate. 14 months after my injury and a half year after cancer surgery I hit slopes at Soda Spring resort where I took my first snowboard lesson decades ago. I started on the absolutely easiest beginners slope and slowly worked up to the “steepest” slope on the picture. Of course my legs were like noodles and people around scared me. It will not be like before I will just carefully slide the hills but just to be outside on the snow was like small miracle. How's the Springs these days? I can honestly say I've not been there...yet. It looks like Ill be back in Tahoe starting late July for another tour of duty at Squaw.....so we will have to meet up again....maybe at the Springs or Northstar like we used to.
