Cuban Carving Gooding
[quote=Helmut Karvlow; I can't wait to ride her:1luvu: HARD!!!!!! after you of course, Sir Shred Hay Shred can I get thirds?
Gcarve
You took her to Victoria's Secret on your first date! You're moving a little fast there dude, take it easy. She looks pretty comfy in that BMW, a little too comfy. Don't let her take you for everything you got. She probably just wants you for your carving expertise! kinpa
Shred, all I can say.... is....uh.... wow.... but seriously, I don't think that board is black enough for you..... not sure how the red is going to work for you! Or are you going for redheads now?
Ray
Oh no Shred! I am very afraid you already caught something from her, some kind of, well ya know This is bad and I feel sorry for you! The dangerous part about it, “this” type of infection is very very difficult to cure. And, even worse, this might result in you liking it so very much!!! At that point it will happen, you will not be faithful to her for all too long. See, now you buy her nice things and take her out, but once you somewhat reigned her in, you want more of this, this aggressive, sometimes even rough, dirty and painful, but so fulfilling experience. You might end up bringing in another love into your game. I see it coming
www.oldsnowboards.com
Pardon my ignorance, but what are the two black rods mounted on the front and rear of the middle board, and the one on the right? I'll assume they are for shock absorbtion. Where do you buy them, and how much are they? Sorry for the thread jack, we now return to our regularly scheduled posts.............................................................. Here is Mike's new short board with "Plate Stix" attached. I am anxious to hear Mike's feedback on this configuration.

Hans
Interesting set up that last prototype Tinkler stix plate system
www.oldsnowboards.com
Interesting set up that last prototype Tinkler stix plate system Mike rode it Tuesday without the "plate stix". We have at least another month to play on Mt Hood before the race camps start. We should be able to hear back about the out come. His newest plate hardware is working really well and it is super light. More to come. Currently I think my new board will be a combination of the three boards in the photo. Just guessing right now, but something like. Narrow-18.5cm Waist. TNT , lower/shorter nose , inserts placed for his newest plate hardware, handle in plate, lowered/lightened plate (26th generation tinkler plate system ) with newest snow stix designed with plate integration and adjustment. Topsheet of my design on both plate and board plus a couple active options that have not yet been discussed. Hopefully be on it next season on the very end of this one. Might go a bit shorter for my steeper pitch days. Built for a 225lber (meaning I must loose at least 25lbs by next season) Bryan
www.oldsnowboards.com
Nice looking Tinkler board! That is the most unique snowboard I've ever seen! As you can imagine, we get that comment allot on the mountain. We field allot of questions in the lift line. Although we move pretty quick so it doesn't drag out very long. We often end up with "Stalkers" trying to figure out what is going on. Many of which are skiers. They often ask the best questions too. Fun to see folks get excited about the boards and alpine riding.
Gcarve
If I saw you and that board, I'd be stalking you too! And I'd probably be begging for a demo ride!
bjvircks
Hey, Shred... I don't want to be the bearer of bad news, but I heard that someone looking just like your girl was seen hanging out with a park monkey. She was sliding rails and bonking everything she came to. Heard she really liked tabletops. Just hoping your girl hasn't been taking any long weekends away from you. Crap.... I'm just jealous. Hans
Frank did it again, very nice, just came in at my sunny doorstep. Virus BD III Zylon Series 176 2012.
ursle
Very nice, I always thought the BD was 173cm, 176 is different as well as the butterfly, and I know it's not an afterthought like the madds, it's part of the construction...so is it fatter at the waist also? I've had two of these suckers and enjoy the rebound.
Hans
These new school series Frank made through these last years are not what they were before: decambered nose, one layer of titanal, and so on. Much easier too ride than the former series without losening that typical Virus feelin'. Lookin' forward to ride this one. People who have ridden this Slayer, are raving about it. Still keep my old school Cyborg Bling Bling BD III EVO Zylon: 15cm at the waist.
kieran
now if the butterfly was split from the middle back, it'd be a little bit f2'ish. ;) fine looking board.
*Ace*
Very nice, I always thought the BD was 173cm, 176 is different as well as the butterfly, and I know it's not an afterthought like the madds, it's part of the construction...so is it fatter at the waist also?I've had two of these suckers and enjoy the rebound. The lenght and butterfly tells me its a Gladiator and not a Black Death, although thats what it says. The real deciding thing in the waist width...not that names matter much, but thats how its been done in the past, as I am sure you know. Sweet looking board for sure, Frank did a great job on it. Newmax
It is a BlackDeath (Version 3 since the past season, that's why it's now 176 and not 173 anymore). In Zylon 3D construction (Evo) like the one of a Gladiator2. Frank showed up with them at the Carving Masters May 1st. It was amazing to really directly compare an Evo3 board with a Zylon 3D Evo board that both have the same shape. Best board I've ever ridden! :1luvu:What are people usually saying: The better is the enemy of the good.... Cheers Max PS: There was also another great new construction, the new Nightmare2 :)
