Ouch!Ironically, my helmet hitting the electric eye caused the timer to record my time. It was one of the faster ones of the day. philw Posted January 19, 2012 Report Share Posted January 19, 2012 Here is one of the oldest photos I have. The boots are plastic, although I remember people had leather ones too. This is what they taught us to do, pointing the planks in weird directions. The business with the sticks is all my own invention. This was my 1st ever ski run, the length of which you can see in the photo. I did not to my memory crash into the photographer (he was using my camera and I couldn't afford to break that sucker).
