  1. SOLD Purchased a couple years ago, used for 2 days. Located in Maine. Will ship at buyers expense. $350
  2. Bit of an old thread, but I tracked down my password to this account just to say I never thought I'd find another hardboot racer from Harpswell.
  3. $700 don't make me store it for another summer!
  4. Bump, see revised first post. I have not even touched this board since I posted the add in May 2017!
  5. With your height and weight you will want a STIFF board. There will be lots of leverage coming from your movements.
  6. I always go straight. That's why the boots are angled so much, better aero.
  7. Since when does one guy dictate how alpine riding should look? Bit of a ridiculous statement if you ask me. The day I care what you think of my riding style is the day I dry my boots for good.
  8. Bump. Same price. Only put one additional day on this since initial post.
  9. You might try a steeper cant in the back as an alternative to riding unlocked. Safety issue? Not that I can think of. Loss of power transmission yes, in some capacity.
  10. Last year YYZ wouldn't allow me to purchase F2s from them as Shaun at Donek has the US covered. Will save you the phone call....
  11. The alternative is getting in your car and hand delivering it. Seems cheap now huh...
  12. I too ride a 20.5 stance. I am only 6' tall but have a very long inseam length. Coiler NSR 180, Boiler plate, F2 Ti's. Same board for every condition and I do no change riding style on conditions.

Workshop said exactly what I was thinking. Ride the board with and without, that way you can feel the difference not just imagine it.
  14. Yup! And AG basically nailed everything. Not a loafer but, the place is pretty sweet.
  15. I'll include shipping in the $1100 price above to the lower 48 states, otherwise it will continue to sit contently inside till snow flies once again.
  16. The answer really depends on the context... Are you lackadaisically carving down the hill, dropping a hand here or there? Or are you racing but without any gates or timer? I use my hands and arms as inertia to control exit and entry into turns. Nice thing is that my hands are connected via my arms to my shoulders. One goes the rest follows.
  17. This board was built and delivered to me early March 2017. Built for 165lb rider not including gear, and tweaked slightly to run with a plate. 14-17m sidecut. 20.X waist. It is reeeally smooth. Handles chop great, kills it on groomers. I had the pleasure of riding this board on some of the gnarliest ice-cord I've ever seen, and it did great. I have had fun riding leisurely as well as railing the hell out of it. 10/10 condition. Worst mark on the board is that black streak by the serial #. 2* side and .75* base. Bindings bought at same time, large F2 Race Ti's. Boiler plate is a UPM model, 5mm. Works flawlessly. Some light boot scuffs on top. Hardware is in great shape. Bought used off Bomber in early 2015. $750 in person. This setup has less than five days on it.
  18. What is that plate made of? UHMW? Even with that taper those tips will be very stiff. The shape itself adds to the resistance of motion (triangle). While I personally would try radius-ing the tips, I'll let you make that call. Have you contacted Kessler about it?
  19. If you ride slalom like I do then sometimes your transition from toe to heel happens in the air and not the snow, nose lands first and the rest of the edge follows. naturally the front foot is weighted much more. This is a massive bending moment at the end of the plate. You are forcing the board to bend tighter than it can effectively bend due to the hard corner of the plate. Elastic deformation to plastic. Radius the end of the plate and I bet your problems end. This is why I'm leary of plates without a bill and bumper of some sort. So much is expected of the materials at that one point and the boards just can't take it.
