ShortcutToMoncton
Episode 5 is up: http://www.oldsnowboards.com/bol_files.htmPretty light on alpine aside from the usual off-slope drama with Lambert. Hahaha yeah I just caught one episode on TV; they make that guy look like a douche eh :D

Corey
There's another one next week. No idea how many there are in total.
Allee
MTV is screwing with the schedule right now. Episode 6 is supposed to be on MTV this weekend, Episode 7 has already played on some of the affiliates but not on MTV yet - and it's not scheduled on there for the next 2 weekends. I'm keeping an eye on the Shaw Direct schedule, all the times for all the stations are on there.
gayebee
Does anyone have the 6th season to DL
RideGuy
I don't know what's going on with the schedule. http://www.ctvolympics.ca/over-the-bolts/index.html There is an episode on CTV right now called "Korea Drills". Hopefully episode 6 will really air on Saturday on CTV.
Corey
We need another option for hosting these videos. Hackers took the first option down. :( Anyone able to host these or upload them via Torrents? I have episode 6 but no way* to send it anywhere aside from FTP. *My ISP severely restricts upload rates on torrents. It takes 10+ hours to upload each episode. I can upload via FTP within 1/2 hour or so.
Corey
Anyone able to help spread these around? Even if you can just receive the file via FTP and then start a torrent that will help.

bartron
I was just about to post to say the same thing. :-) I'm getting decoding errors in episodes 6 & 7. I tried it with the Quicktime player as well as VLC and the DivX player. Are you on a Mac ? Corey, how are you encoding the files ? -
DiveBomber
I think the file is corrupt. ditto. BTW is this only about the alpine stuff if? if not coudl we know which are the alpine only parts?
carvedog
Torrent newbie here. I downloaded one from Bryan's site but couldn't get it to play. Anyone on a Mac having that issue or is it just me?
Corey
Interesting. I record them in Media Center and then use SUPER video converter to take them from .dvr-ms to .avi. They play on Windows Media Player, VLC, etc. for me. Maybe they're getting corrupted while uploading? Any better ideas?
queequeg
Torrent newbie here. I downloaded one from Bryan's site but couldn't get it to play. Anyone on a Mac having that issue or is it just me? Carvedog - download VLC player, and open it in that program. Quicktime player does not have the AVI codec out of the box. http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/5758/vlc-media-player Also: VLC will also repair damaged AVI files, so if you were unable to view episode 6 due to corruption, VLC will fix the file and play it for you. There are other ways to view AVI's on a mac, but this is the way I do it. Another user suggested trying perian, so that may also work. Actually http://www.perian.org/ is the place for Mac OSX codecs. I have watched all 3 eps on quicktime. :-)
bartron
Looks like a Windows-Mac issue, as I suspected, which means a CODEC issue. In my case, it plays best with the Quicktime player with flip4mac. The others start playing it, but get stuck. --
dbmgreen
Another user suggested trying perian, so that may also work. Perian is a small "program" that lives in your preference pane and automatically downloads all the video codecs for macs as new ones become avail. FWIW I still have flip4mac VLC divx and adobe players on my mac. windows = "it just works" how mac ever got away with that line I will never know :p:p
Seraph
VLC did the trick. Thanks for mentioning that it repairs avi files!
scrutton
vlc is able to repair the problem and play back (not saving file). Don't bother with the convert /save option - playback wasn't any good via this route.
