Kai says thanks for the bday wishes. We had a blast doing flip and stuff at JumpStreet. Noir, Kai is now into the double digits, he turned 10 last week while we were out of town. Yes, a 9 yr old has been showing you how to get it done. We hope to see you all next weekend.

  • I recently switched over to hard boots and will be in Denver for work first week of May, planning to board W, TH and Sat at either Loveland or A-Basin and was hoping to take a lesson, any suggestions?

I have a guy at Keystone that teaches, and at Vail. I don't know of anyone official at Loveland or A-Basin.

I can't comment on instructors (haven't taken any carving lessons yet) although one of the ski instructors at Loveland told me there was a snowboard instructor there with carving gear. I left a message with the ski school reception desk, though, and never got a call back. For getting used to hard boots, I took someone else's advice and went to the top of lift 6 at Loveland because it's wide and not too steep. It was a good choice.
