Dusty Bottle
What a great day! Usual LCI hooligans, over 12" of fresh powder, waist deep in the trees and I brought a 180 GS... Oh well, at leasr it was windy... And yes, the GS was fun in all but the deepest, heaviest chop! inkaholic
Kai says thanks for the bday wishes. We had a blast doing flip and stuff at JumpStreet. Noir, Kai is now into the double digits, he turned 10 last week while we were out of town. Yes, a 9 yr old has been showing you how to get it done. We hope to see you all next weekend. cka9
I recently switched over to hard boots and will be in Denver for work first week of May, planning to board W, TH and Sat at either Loveland or A-Basin and was hoping to take a lesson, any suggestions? I can't comment on instructors (haven't taken any carving lessons yet) although one of the ski instructors at Loveland told me there was a snowboard instructor there with carving gear. I left a message with the ski school reception desk, though, and never got a call back. For getting used to hard boots, I took someone else's advice and went to the top of lift 6 at Loveland because it's wide and not too steep. It was a good choice.
