dirk109
TEX, I am going to revisit the "Carvemaster Challange" this year. We will get the Gate involved and maybe we will get Stratton to close a trail for us. I mean really, since Stratton is the "Home of Carving" east of the Miss. River, it is only fitting...... polaris
http://www.catek.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=14 "Carving competition will be held in February at Stratton, Vermont. Dates and format to be announced soon. Entry fee: $100.00, winner takes all. " I think it ended as a photshop contest.
Derf
It ended up as a regular carving day with CMC, PSR, Todd Brown and some others I think. The video of the day is on my website somewhere.

Steph
Sean, I'd like to nominate World Cup as the trail for the "carve master challenge". Just my 2 cents.
GeoffV
I'm so in on this :D as long as it is organzied. Sean once you get past oh and then there was some of this as well and feeling better get some more details posted on this event. I'm sure I can convince little ol' Jack to show unless he is to Jack we'll be on the same board so it will come down to pure skills:boxing_sm Ok now I'm feeling
tex1230
can we have age divisions so I have half a chance...err...nevermind, I'll still lose
AlexJ
I'm in and second World Cup riders left. Its perfect 2 1/2 groomers wide with defined bounds of woods on one side and the roped off bumps on the right. Increasing pitch with the headwall to launch a trick into your final 2-3 carves. It also has a perfecet viewing area at the bottom. My money is on Steph. Alex

GeoffV
If Steph is doing this the rest of us will have a chance otherwise the odds are good that she'll kick our asses:D If you don't believe me, take a look at the marketing material for Stratton this year, she is on the cover with her ass an inch from the ground:eek:

Maybe we need a men's and women's division so she doesn't school all of us.How about doing it on another employee appreciation week for those $15 lift tickets ? "Ohhhh, you're that willywhit guy ":D everyone enjoy the debate last night ? Times are tough my friends. But don't worry....there is a way to save during this time of crisis. If you had purchased $1000.00 of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now be worth $49.00. With Enron, you would have $16.50 left of the original $1000. With WorldCom, you would have less than $5.00 left. If you had purchased $1000.00 of Delta Air Lines stock you would have $49.00 left. If you had purchased United Airlines, you would have nothing left. But, if you had purchased $1000.00 worth of beer one year ago, drank all the beer, then turned in the cans for recycling, you would have $214.00. Based on the above, the best current investment advice is to drink heavily and recycle. This is called the 401-Keg Plan.
