  1. The issue with the Flow is the made them to work with their own boots best. Flow boots are like a logger boot made out of carbon steal. I have the Dominators and they should have been called the Dominatrix they bind you up like a XXX web site. If they fit it is awsome (the Boots) but took some getting used to. The only other boots I have had luck with in Flows is Northwave they need to be a thinner boot. Paul
  2. I have to second the Flow's. I have pro 11's and a set of the older carbons and would never ride soft on anything else. The Catek's do look nice though.
  3. Hey TT, We bought our camp on the back side of Sunapee 4 years ago. It was a fixer-upper but for less than the price of a nice SUV we couldn't pass it up. The only thing I don't like is you are locked into one mountain or a smaller area. You have to get the season pass. On the good side if you like the Mt you buy at, you can sleep in (we are 5 miles from the parking lot) and still have first tracks, don't have to pay the $6 a beer at the bar in the lodge and can sit in your own hot tub every night after a day at the hill. The plus for us also is we can bring the dogs and don't have to rush home every night to let them out. So, in hind site yes I would do it again. If the price is right, do it. Paul
  4. I got the 325's and have the same issue, I thought it was me. I didn't tighten the top buckle at all when I molded them and after the first day the top feels like it won't get tight enough. I have a 24m so I fit into the category Dave pointed out. I have used them about 10 days now and I got used to the way they feel. I don't get heel lift or any slop in the boot no mater what but the top just does not get as tight as I have had with my last 3 pairs of boots. Paul
  5. I have to know who stole this NEW 161 for $311. I almost threw down a bid before I left for the weekend. Now I'm kickin' myself I hope whoever won it is one of us. I won't feel so bad if it is. iten# 160204831296
  6. EZE hey we missed you both days, actually all 3, rode friday thru sunday. OUTSTANDING on the new AM. I rode with Eric on sunday he saw you but we never found you. He bailed at 10:30 and I rode untill noon. Some human gates but not to bad. Friday was great, you gotta get a job that gives you more time off, all work and no ride will make you old like me fast. Had the wife on Hard boot Sat and she is a convert, now I just have to find her a set of intec heels so she can get in and out herself, old burton step-ins with the rear leaver are killing her. Blocked next weekend see you the 22nd! Paul
  7. I had the same thought when I got a set of F2's I used one long screw from an old binding to get it started and once you pull the plate down a little the screws that came with it are plenty long. The center plate is very thin once you get it started. Paul
  8. Does your wife know you posted her height AND weight on an open forum for the world to read? Man you got a bigger set than I do. :D If you can find an O2 FR157 or a F2 Speedster GTS 158 that is what I am getting my wife on this year. The FR is working great for her so far. Paul
  9. I'll be there Bob, we spend the early part of the day in the slo-bowl but I'll look for another carver. EZE is a first chair guy and said he'll be there. What's it doin' up there Eric? Paul
  10. I've got an Orange Honda Element that I'd be willing to give it a try in! Who is going to get on their carving boards in the park with me? C'mon don't all jump up at once. Paul
  11. Thanks Eric, We are up for a long weekend but it is starting to look like more time at 1 Mile West than on the hill. Looks like the weekend to bring movies. Might see you out there anyway. The pass is paid for as of two weeks ago with 11 days in so everything else is a bonus (Right??)
  12. Trip if you have never ridden a Coiler BUY THIS BOARD, I bought my first one this season and will be hard pressed to get anything else again, well possibly another Madd. And the seller is great to deal with, got a Madd from him a couple seasons ago. Paul

  14. EZE saw you getting on the detach Sunday but never caught up. NICE Arcs on that new Madd! Snow was Outstanding! Thanks for the advice on the AM. I finaly rode it instead of the other way around. I just kept hearing your words of wisdom... Let the board go!!! Holy Crap! It rode great once I let it out. Great day for the AM too, choped up by lunch time and the snow kept falling. I can't make the 31st either is anyone going the 7th? Paul
  15. We are in for two for the banquet. I sent the paypal but I couldn't change the item number so I sent two separate payments. Paul
  16. Oh Neil you're killin me, I still love the Madd I got from you and now this, but 150 lbs on a 188 ouch. If it was a little shorter. (or if God was less cruel and I was a little taller:) Paul
  17. Don't buy what you read on Wik it is written by anyone who wants to edit it. In fact if the site was not doing it's daily maint. loop I tried to edit the post you just read to credit Willywit for the concurent invention of the snowboard. Don't worry Willy we'll get you your Props! One of the guys I work with (PHD in EE from MIT) loves to go in and change subtle things in some of the def's to screw with people. Paul
  18. IMHO buy bindings once, buy the best, and don't ever worry about breaking them. It isn't the size of the hill that hurts you. If it is your only setup get some TD's or OS's.
  19. Hey before D-SUB slams you post a link! Paul
  20. Um... ya... sure... that is what I mean.
  21. How about mountain ambassador? You ride all day telling people with trail maps where to go.
  22. Mark you Rock man, bindings got here today! Thanks for the fast shipping. They are mounted on my F2 GTS already. :D Paul
