    Sunapee 12/6

Eric good to see you're still with us. Gonna drive by Friday and pick up my pass, let us know how it is! Paul
  2. Have they been able to make snow stick? I looked over yesterday from Sunapee way and it looked dark on the slope. Paul
  3. Glebs got it, talk to Eric at Performance new and used stuff. He'll talk your ear off about carving. 1-866-766-9700 Paul
  4. I got a set of lobster mits a couple years ago and they are great. They are a two finger glove. Warm as a mit but you can still clip and tie stuff. Paul

Talk to Eric at raceboarding, they are around the corner from you in Hampton Falls on Lafayette rd. 1-866-766-9700. He was the SB guy at Gunstock for years. He is a great carver and knows his stuff. They have used gear. He deals with Bomber not sure what level. Paul
  6. D-sub I think you can pull 2500 lbs with it that is what my Forester is rated for. I have pulled a sled trailer and a small boat (sunfish) on a trailer. The only problem is I think you need to buy the hitch from Subaru I don't think any else makes one that fits. They may now...

    Coyotes...

They have been over at Greens pond in Merrimack for years, not a single incident reported. We see them while walking the dogs in Horse Hill too. They keep the varment population down and the cat too if you look at all the missing kitty signs around. And getting mugged on 101A... you must be watching too much TV. Possible over at the tree streets in Nashua but Petsmart...?
  8. Subi Forester XT Room for two dogs @ 95+lbs each, box on top for boards and stuff, faster than the WRX, it aint your dads station wagon! It had a little lean problem but Cobb and Perin make a fix for it and they are talking about an STI version in the US soon. The Automatic still moves and makes trafic easier. Paul
  9. I think he does still have the record. He is a nice guy in person, I have met him at a couple local events also Dragonfly. But being accused by three different governing bodies for three different dopping types, even his biggest fans have got to say WTF Tyler. I havent torn his autographed poster out of my workout room yet but he needs to put some credability into his defence. Look at Lance when he was accused of having a relationship with the Italian Dr that got tagged two years ago... I bet this brings em out from the woodwork... mention L.A. and the will begin.
  10. Hamilton is looking at a lifetime suspention for using the same Dr from Spain that all the others got busted for using. Three strikes for Tyler. At least he keeps his Gold. velonews.com has a couple of good articles and links for the TDF story.
  11. Hey I was just at the EMS in Peterboro NH and they had some nice bikes out front with a 40% off plus I think they still qualify for the pick your sale sale they have going on now so another 20% off. Might be worth calling them to find out exactly what they have, I didn't take a good look. Paul
  12. Take a ride into MA and check out Wheelworks, they carry the largest selection in the area and the sales people know their stuff. I would stay away from any shop in NH I have not found a good one in the 15 years I have lived here. The great thing about Wheelworks is the bikes are built up and pretty much tuned to ride, so they let you take them out for a real test ride. If money is no issue look no further than Seven built in MA. Check out wrenchscience.com for a good price guide and they let you build it yourself online. Personaly, I love my Dean! Have you ridden up at Bear Brook or Masabiesic yet? Some good close in S. NH places to go. Paul
  13. Bose is a good sounding Mid Fi product, but you can't compare it to some of the esoteric audio equipment out there. I don't think they even claim to be an Audiophile product. I just replaced my audio preamp with a Marsh 2000T nice sound!! It is a tube output stage. My logans have never sounded beter. I feed it with a Linn CD player and power it with a Rotel 1090 power amp. T2 speaker cables out to the Logan electrostats. Paul
  14. Try before you buy. I have been on Flows for years and each style is different too. I am a size 7 and with the carbons I have a large and the back is tight with Northwave boots. The FL-11's fit fine with the Northwave boot. I also have a set of Flow boots and the carbons fit great. I had the OLD 11's and they were a M/L and were bigger than the new Large. Try before you get them, if they don't fit the boot they will cause the worst pain in thelower calf you will ever feel. Paul
  15. That was a Bell helmet add from the 1970's If you have a $10 head buy a $10 helmet, sorry, he stole it and add in some inflation. Check MAW.com they have the best prices. Go to a show and try them all on, helmet companys all use a different mold and one that is great for some will give others a blasting headache. The NH police like to see us wearing helmets and appropriate clothing and I found from experience will cut you some slack when thay catch you. I had a couple let me go for minor lapses in good judgement and tell me they did it because of how I was dressed. It isn't a get out of jail free but it hasn't hurt. Have fun and we'll see you on the road. Paul

I gotta' go with Bob on this one. I went with the extra 4 years on my Tiger I haven't used it but you never know. Mine came with road side pick up and I had an issue in the first year that the gas tank vent didn't vent and they would have come from North Hampton to where I worked in Nashua to get the bike if I wanted them to. Has Anyone heard from EZE? I'll be heading up to our camp tomorow and going by his house... should I stop and see that he hasn't move to the Southern Hemisphere to catch winter again? Sounds like a good ride Bob, all but the rain... I haven't melted yet either though so any ride is better than none. I had yard work to do... wish I was getting wet on my bike. Kathy if you're set on a Kaw check out John's Cycle Barn in Wilton NH, He is a great guy and will do you right. It's tuff to find a dealer that is honest and John is the guy. Paul
  17. Get a motorcycle and come carve the pavement. I think Bob has Kathy thinking about getting another one and that just leaves you and Ben. You know you want to! Hey how's early retirement treating you? You have been free from "the man" for a couple of weeks now right? Paul

Nice Hawk Jack I love those! I did mean 26. TT I don't think lowering the back does much for the handling, most Triumphs use an eccentric to adjust the chain and it lowers the bike by quite a bit when it is worn and I don't notice any change in handling when the back goes down. I lowered the front, yes by moving the fork tubes up in the tree or the tree down the tubes and noticed quite a difference. Paul

Kathy I know how you feel looking for a bike. I can touch with the toes of one foot on mine if I sit centered on the seat. After 36 years of riding and racing it dosn't bother me but it sure looks silly when I am moving it around to park it. My wife is your height or shorter and she is on a Honda Shadow 600 ( a cruiser) She loves it. She had the RF 600 ( Suzuki) and we had the seat re padded and dropped the front fork down in the trippletree a half inch, ( per the sugestion of the guys at JMD computrack... before I get a lecture on factory geometry from the mechanical eng guys, it started with 6 deg pos rake and the change made it handle better.) The Duc 600 Monster has a low seat and I think they made a 400 for a while. If looking used Honda made the CB1 which was a 400cc 4 cyl that screamed. The Buell is a good sugestion, the BMW (unless it changed since 2000, I had the road version of the 650, has a high seat)good luck in your search and hope to see you on 2 wheels this summer. Paul
  20. Shred Great Job! Got the hat Monday. Thanks, Paul

  23. EZE you found a bag to go with your shoes. Thats Great Dude! And it SOO matches your eyes. Bob I have a 2000 Triumph Tiger She is a New England touring bike. The ride sounds great always looking for a reason to escape. Paul
  24. Eric you left to early, the snow got nice Sunday just before the rain. Did you get the bike out this weekend Bob? I did a short ride on Saturday thank God for Fuel injection the Triumph fired right up. It gets no better than a day on the Bike and a day in the snow!! I still want to snowboard and wakeboard in the same day... Not done in the snow yet but I'm not able to Thursday this week. Kathy how much is the big K getting for mid-week tix this year? Paul
