  1. Intec or Standard wanted. I've got a buddy coming out in a month and would love to have a second set of bindings around. TD2 is the preference but Catek and F2 bindings considered.
  2. the one day I can skip out of work and you Bola and Thor bail, oh well I still had a good afternoon. come on up tomorrow and slalom the crowds with me. There will be some chairs that don't have lift lines. Recon, looking forward to your March visit.
  3. I'll be at the Zephyr at 8:30. Join me. I'm in a black and grey coat with orange piping. typically ride on the Winter Park side with jaunts over to MJ.
  4. #4 is what we are after with #'s 1,2 and 3
  5. My Dalbello ski boots are a 27.5 and my raichle 224's are a 26. Both fit well, the Dalbello's are a full custom boot by a knowledgable boot fitter
  6. It is getting bright. I find that an orange lens is my preference, great definition in the shadows and enough shade to keep the eyes from hurting.
  7. no wonder you're packin the bling, hope you kept your chest protector and helmet
  8. is your girl (assumption (not that there is anything wrong with that)) going to allow you to start a new addiction? Do you ride backwards alot? if no, buy a square tail
  9. I know she wants one, she told me! I swear! On my honor, she wants one!! When she is good, I may even let her ride it.
  10. I was stoked to meet and ride with you Jen. Let us know when your next trip out here is
  11. any pictures? if you got it, flaunt it!
  12. Definately, carving with others makes it much more fun and interesting! Like minds travel well together!
  13. look for a Zip Fit dealer to start. The problem with mine is that they are silicone injected which translates into not working with any other shell. The new Zip fits are a cork material that forms to your feet each time you wear your boot. so as long as there is enough room in your boot shell to accomodate a liner, you will have a custom boot each day. If you can find a silicone injected liner they are the bomb. The problems are; -the liners will outlast your shells -as the size of your lower leg shrinks because the liners were fit for lower legs that ski 70+ days per year, they do not fit any more. I only get out 20 - 30 days anymore and being a desk jockey doesn't help to keep me in shape. If one skis/boards similar number of days per year silicone injection is the way to go. if you are not consistent in your days the cork liners or remoldable liners are the shiznit. I think that Zipfit has discontinued the silicone liners, but some dealers still have some left. The guys that fit me are pretty bummed that silicones are no longer available. A ski boot liner will definately add stiffness to any snowboard boot on the market, just know what you need. http://www.zipfit.com/
  14. Things only get better in March. I haven't skied Big Mountain yet, I got the info off of their site. I know 4 - 5 people that have moved to the area and never come back. I haven't been to Big Sky since Jr. High (scary, that was 20 years ago). I remember it as being a lot of fun. Enjoy it!!
  15. I tried to put the Zip Fits from my ski boots into my board boots, bummed they wouldn't work (shell volume in my Raichle 224's is to small). I agree that ski boot quality is much higher than hard boots. Ski boots do have a much larger market, boils down to supply and demand.
  16. big mountain, MT is claiming 160" has fallen - 72" base your report sounds realistic
  17. I wonder what bevel they use on their edges? The wipe outs have got to be impressive, 20 MPH and catch the low side edge. My biggest fear would be riding faky with the support bar where it is
  18. We have had some good powder days, but there hasn't been much in between. So far it has added up to an average year. The base is at 54" now. I have a hard time considering the trees open until 65-70". Granted there are many people who are willing to get into the trees at 30", I'm just not one of them. As for a job, a friend of mine runs the ski school and I think they are still looking for help. Bring your girlfriend and a padded savings account, should be a good time.
  19. Do you use Spybot? This has an optional setting that will not let you watch flash videos
  20. This avalanche shows the amount of snow and wind deposit that we have had recently. Today, about the time of the slide, I was on top of the bowl at WP and quickly said 'lets get the hell out of here' due to the wind and blowing snow. The Stanley slide path is definately an impressive spot. The slide only covered one of the two highway crossings that are in the path. goes to show how much bigger the slides have been in the past. Fascinating stuff.
  21. our metal is magical yours just made your boobs feel bigger!
  22. D-Sub, six posts in this thread and you still haven't contributed. If you want to stay in the bleachers, blend into the crowd. If you want to play, get in the game.
  23. I'm ignorant of the specifics, I believe that he (Sigi Grabner) is a european master of the carve. I immagine that his boards Rock! I think he is a European version of Donek or Coiler.I'msure others will post more info soon.
