  1. It works with Firefox, the host just doesn't allow linking, so you just have to copy the link to your clipboard and type it directly in the address bar.
  2. Read step 5. http://www.bomberonline.com//articles/setup.cfm
  3. Not a good idea. You'll have to use ridiculous angles even if you do have small feet and you won't get any support from the highbacks. It's better to either buy the boots and bindings first or to wait and save up some more. You're probably gonn have a hard time carving an alpine board with softies.
  4. Yeah, Vegas but 1000000 times wealthier. Instead of seedy cheap tackyness you get expensive gawdy tackyness. And I'm sure there are some nice places out side the tourist center and in near by costal cities. Also it's not too near, but Qatar seems like it would be a cool place to live, but no snow, not even the fake stuff :(.
  5. Why? Dubai sounds awesome. They're building all this cool crap (worlds tallest building, 3 man made island, indoor ski slope, various expensive hotels) and it sounds awesome. They've already got the Burj al-Arab and that alone is awesome.
  6. Those carbon X-Bones are sweet. So are the Naganos! Never seen pics either of those before, I've only read about them.
  7. Try going with a narrower stance width and/or some inward cant in the rear.
  8. My skier friend wants some Solomon's, they seem alright. Also according to the website it looks like Donek just started making an alpine version of their telemark skis. For bindings I have no idea but becuase of this thread I'll probably do some research. And for boots, my advise would be to find out what qualities you want in a boot and then try on as many boots that fit those qualities as you possibly can and find the ones that fit the best.
  9. No but I'll be up there on the 3rd and 4th of December.
  10. I was about to say the same thing but then, with a little help from google translator (it doesn't translate grammar though so it's still a little confusing) it looks like the #one came out in 2002 and the video was made in 2001.
  11. No matter how many times I see that photo it always blows my mind.
  12. What are you thinking! You definatly SHOULD SELL your tanker 200... to me :D.
  13. I'm 15, 16 in January as well, but I'm a little heavier (140lbs). This is also going to be my first season on hardboots so I have yet to ride a board but I'll share with you the gear I'm getting to give you an idea of what someone else in the same situation bought. I ordered a Donek FCII 163 (should come mid nov. I can't wait!), I'm getting some TD2's with the yellow erings, and I bought some super soft Raichle SB222's (I spent all my $$$ on the board and bindings :D). Oh and you said you outgrew your old board? The appropriate snowboard is determined mostly by weight, length only affects how the board performes in reguards to stability and turnyness, length has nothing to do with how compatable you are with the board. So unless the board feels too soft you could probably get away with using your old board and just getting new boots and bindings.
  14. This should probably go in the classifieds forum.
  15. They're probably even softer than the X23's (which makes sence X22 < X23 < X24 < X25) I read somewhere that they're for juniors, women and other leightweight riders. I'm only 140 but I just want to get an idea of where my boots are and how stiff hardboots can get.
  16. Where do 222's rank in stiffness. They seem pretty soft to me.
  17. The more people post the more apparent it becomes that I might be the youngest on the forums. I'm the youngest to actually contribute to the thread but 13 people have voted in the 10-20 catagory and only 4 or so have posted so there might be some kids that haven't posted.
  18. Have you ridden the shortplates? if you have and they work for you keep them. If you think you could go with a stiffer binding get the long plates.
  19. I know that on tour has skis. Let me know how it is, I've been thinking about picking up a copy but I'm cheap so I'll probably just get a used SSx or Tricky. Also us know if they brought back the alpine boards (I doubt it but I'm hopeful)
  20. All I know is that the first SSX had Alpine boards... God I wish I haddn't gotten rid of that game, it rocked.
  21. I'm not going to let this thread die. Again I encourage all of you edit (remember it's wikipedia anyone can edit).
  22. WHY MUST YOU TAUNT ME! I'm getting restless in anticipation for the season.
  23. YEAH! I can't wait till Nov 10th (I'm actually not going opening day but it's just gonna be sweet to know that I have the ability to go :D)
