  1. Sorry about your injury. Those ribs constantly remind you of the damage. One hint: Hang around dull, boring people. If only hurts when you laugh. I broke 3 upper ribs and a collar bone but that was when I was 40. Took a month but I was back out there- on skis.:( It took 6 weeks before I would risk riding again. And long waits for clear trails. Hope you're on the slopes soon.
  2. Come on up to K-mart 1 foot of new, should be packed down by Saturday. I need a new evil sports sticker for my new helmet:1luvu:
  3. When does the new batch arrive?
  4. I too was looking. There is a Coiler at Startingate, Blue- stiffness is 7. They want $800 though. I picked up a F2 at Blue Tomatoe for $520. Good luck

Just from measuring, I get the waist at 18.7 Maybe marksride has more info on it From riding it I would say it is around a 10M +/-

You guys with those fancy Kesslers and Metal Coilers will be crying in March/April when you have nothing to ride:( Those rocks don't care how much your board costs. This board will be great in those bumped-up soft days.
  7. Can we get the specs on the shovel? Metal

This board was on BOL 2 weeks ago and I tried it out. The board was as advertised, plenty of snap left, base in great condition. A fun turny board. Better than the "rock board" use I had intended for it. I really like the base style:1luvu: The top has some scratches and dings but no delam. The problem I had was there are only one set of inserts spaced at 17.25". At 6'3, I could not get a comfortable stance so it's looking for a home again. It still needs a better edge, I did not want to spend the time or $$ on it until I knew I could ride it. Perfect for a shorter rider although probably too stiff for a junior rider. $70 plus shipping, a good deal. Easy to slip under the spousal radar.
  9. someone piss in your cheerios this morning?
  10. D'oh:eek: I havn't seen the main page in years.
  11. I notice there are many sites that have an equipment review section; MTBreview.com, for instance. It seems a lot of threads are started looking for info on a particular board or boots. Next month you get the same question. Now I know there is a search function but many times comments are buried in long posts. Maybe a section to store all these comments would be useful. There may be some conflict due to Bomber selling much of the alpine gear and not wanting bad reviews but I would find it useful. Ant thoughts?
  12. No deals anymore. The new owners increased prices and eliminated most deals. You can go online and get a few % off or commit to multiple days over the season and set about 10% off. Food prices have increased beyond NYC levels. I always pack in a lunch, especially with my kids. Best advice for Killington: Check uphill twice before a carving run! Many clueless yahoos. See you on the hill
  13. I am at K every weekend and would enjoy catching a few turns. I am on a Donek or Coiler AM and go where ever I can get away from people. Last year I spent most of my time in the canyon to avoid people. Got a lot of ice time.;) If you have a FSR I am on 8-15.

You gotta try it at least once. There are usually demo days so why not. They did a few at Waterville. The board makes you watch your front/back balance. It you screw up you can try to save yourself with the poles- usually resulting in a thumb sprain.:(
  15. I have looked through the racks. January is gone and Feb is now out. I guess we settle for the other discount?
  16. Anyone ride one yet? I need a small board for crowded weekends. thanks
  17. Still waiting to hear from you Mike
  18. My kids call my Osin 4807 - Puff Daddy - but it split down the middle- the name is now available
  19. Geoff - I could use some contact info too. It's been 5 months since I've heard from him.
  20. Interested, Can I see it this weekend? I am in Pittsfield Sadly had to put down my Speedster 156 RT66 this year.
  21. Figured I'd start here. Looks like Kitesnowboard.com forum is just a porn site. Anyone done with the basics and ready to unload their training kite?
