  1. Prentice, Don't let Ward get hurt this weekend, we want to ride with you guys on Thurs at Okemo.
  2. Missed them by 1 day. Someone starting a bidding war?
  3. sold out for the year. I could limp along and get next year's order, but it's good to see what's out there.
  4. Also some Catek or TD2's long plates

    Cold toes

Hey Pat, I had those boot gloves in my hand at the counter but decided against them. I was wondering if they had to be taken off every time to get out of your bindings? I tried the footbed heaters once. They got HOT for 10-15 minutes then died. Became hard as a rock. Maybe just a bad one?
  6. I assume you are out of the weight range for the shorty just be careful ? Not to be overly sensitive to my Clydesdale status, but I have never seen a weight range on boards. If there is a range, I would assume it would be the design weight for the particular performance characteristics of the board, not a limit for any safety reasons. Any board designers out there?
  7. D-sub I have an older F2 speedster 153 and it's used more than my Donek FC179 and RT168. It's still got a lot of snap and it's 8-10 yrs old. I am about your size, 5'15" 215. Bought it used, Glenn C is bumming he sold it. JG sold it to him , PTC reground it, I'm loving it. Try it at Okemo!

    Cold toes

I too have cold toes, but it's from the 1/2 cup of snow that gets between the liner and shell of my old Raichle 324's . I can't figure how it get's in there. Anyone else have this? The toe warmer pads work OK if used on top of the foot. otherwise they tend to roll into a ball and cut off circulation.
  9. You're scaring me. I have yet to get my Madd and I have size 12 or 29.5 boots. What angles did you ride to boot out?

    Madd Trade

mtnken, Thiat is a possibility. I still have not received my 158 yet, but from what I have been hearing this board may be too small for me. I'm 6'3 220. I have an old F2 158+/- speedster that I thought was dead and needed replacing. I got a PTC tune on it and I have had a great season on it. I have a friend with both a Madd 158 and 170. If I can try his out at Okemo next week and my big feet don't boot out on these boards, I will either trade the 158 when and if I get it, or sell it outright or trade for an Axis or 4X4.
  11. Has anyone compared the Coiler AM to the Donek Axis or F2 Speedcross? I have had no reason to think of buying one until this year. There hasn't been this much powder in the NE for years. ( Sorry NW guys) I'm too old to be cartwheeling race boards in the pow. Any thoughts?
  12. http://www.wndsweather.com/ The t-shirt is a must-have. Join the fan club! Unfortunately I'll be at Wildcat Saturday- not the best carving, but I am pushing for Bretton Woods. Now only forcast for 12-18":D
  13. Has anyone ever lost a board from outside a gondola? Lifties at K-mart insist I bring the board inside. This make for 8 unhappy occupants and 1 scratched up Donek.
  14. Would prefer Mt. Snow for $$ reasons but Okemo would by OK too. Maybe I'll have my Madd by then.:(
  15. Ka tev iet eRentgenc, Don't let them dis your short stick. I also have the F2 159 Speedster and this spring I was on it more than my new Donek. I have the new Madd 158 coming soon, I hope. It will be ground by the same guy ,Mike D , and to the same angles. I will be interested to see how it compares to the F2. Lonerider, your course at the IAB pales in comparison to the one we had on the Widner steps Feb '78. That was epic. Uz redzesanos, Scott

    My design

Sveiks Uldis, Just change the l in snowboarding to an i and you have a winner.
  17. Can anyone recommend a place to stay in the Bethel Maine area? I bought those "All 4 one " season tickets for my family so we'll be on the road this winter. Killington area and Attatash is all set, but Sunday River is way overpriced at the mountain. They charge each kid as an adult for rooming. Any help would be appreciated. [clever comment inserted here]
  18. Anyone ever try those bags with Bomberonline written on them? Might as well wear a turbin and shoes with fuses in the heels too.
  19. I'm bailing out of NH for this weekend. Any snow left in VT? Rain's will kill what little there is left in NH.
  20. Heard in the liftline: "That's one of those half ski, half boarding things. It called a Grooving board." I can live with that.
  21. I just got back tonight from getting my footbeds for my Raichles. I got them at Bill's Wilderness on Comm Ave. across the street from EMS. The guru there, Gordon, seems to know what he's doing. The other place is the Starting Gate stop up on the access road at Sugarbush. They are also very good, just a hike from Boston. If you're up there anyway it's worth it.
