  1. http://hardbooter.net/blog/?p=596 Seem to be falling short on embedding here at Bomber so I'll just link to our blog.
  2. Hey Todd, Great to hear you and fam are coming to Salt Lake. Great opportunities await for snow-sliding, depending on conditions. Early march is usually sufficiently cold to uphold great High pressure conditions on snow. Low to mid twenties will provide thousands of acres of carving at a # of world class resorts. For you, a seasoned Western visitor, it will come down to grooming in the conditions mentioned. Park City get's about 150 less inches of snowfall per winter than the Big and Little Cottonwood canyons that house Brighton, Solitude, Alta and Snowbird, respectively so the snow sets up, in my opinion, better east of said canyons. The elevation is lower and it seems a bit more blue-bird over there due to to the higher peaks sucking moisture out of the air. (I write this with you're GD pic up in the right hand corner in a Donek ad... How intrusive!!) That said, Solitude during High Pressure is wonderful. They really seam to give a crap about grooming and there are a hand-full of carvers over there. Silver bullet ( steve ), Zach Lundeen and Jarvis to name a few, would be glad to show you around and it's steep enough for a skier to rally as well. Snowbird grooming is a bit spotty in my opinion and Brighton is too skinny left to right for how you like to open it up. A Salt Lake City proper stay gives you access to every worthy resort in the state and will be cheaper than PC or staying at a resort and will not limit you on travel as 8 resorts are within 45 minutes of the northern half of SL Valley. Hope this helps and look forward to making some turns with you on our turf for once!! Feel free to dump Utah riding q's over on the forum at HB.com/forum. We just got it rolling again after years of being down!
  3. Got your message on the tele too. Are you able to see other vid's I posted?
  4. a good chat with Chris. We posted this one to capture the last 10 seconds or so of the conversation. In most places, to put things in perspective, 10 minutes to get on a lift isn't all to bad on a weekend. However, it's fasttracks or the bar in Park City and it sounds like Chris feels the same about the crowds. <object classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" width="437" height="288" id="viddler_cb840ae6"><param name="movie" value="http://www.viddler.com/player/cb840ae6/" /><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always" /><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true" /><embed src="http://www.viddler.com/player/cb840ae6/" width="437" height="288" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowScriptAccess="always" allowFullScreen="true" name="viddler_cb840ae6"></embed></object>

  10. We'll be glad to host it. PM me and we'll get it up ASAP.
  11. Hey Paul, Say hello to Shaggy for me too. It's been too long... Dave
  12. Sorry for the delay in this year’s setup for the Wasatch Trenchin’ Convention. The blow dealt by Park City Mountain Resort and personal goings on have prompted a very loosely organized get together. Thursday the 26th will be a ride at Snowbasin. If you don’t have a season pass or a day ticket already, just mention that you’re with the Hardbooter group and you’ll be extended a discount day pass. Snowbasin is a premier spot to carve in Utah. It’s got huge vert with well groomed trails and low density weekend and weekday population. The parking lot will look packed but the diffusion of daily riding participants amongst the large amount of terrain really makes the mountain feel as if it’s a small local mountain. I'll have a few select boards in the truck for demo but you'll have to provide binders and boots. Hardbooter custom shaped Priors and a couple of Virus's for your enjoyment. We will not let you mount Cateks on HB demo boards so, over the course of the weekend, if you would like to demo a board from us, please provide a different interface or drop us a line and we might be able to arrange something. I'll post soon on Fri Sat and Sunday details at Canyons and PC/PC respectively. Arrival time for myself will be around 0815 in SB Parking lot. Give me a ring at 801-953-5115 for an exact 20. I'll have some tools and saw horses for early setup and operate out of a 1963 split window Corvette trunk. Ok, maybe a 1998 Ford Explorer. Let's meet at the base of of Needles Gondola in the resort plaza around 0900. Others will not be hard to spot with their alpine gear. See you there!!
  13. Billy Bordy has designed a board and Prior has built it to his specs. We had a run done and believe it to be a nice version of the stubby, in which he also had a hand in laying out. The B squared get's 160cm of running length out of a 175cm total with a 21.5 cm waiste and has a radius that averages around 15.5. ...and it's made to ride fakie all day long, if you prefer...
  14. http://www.bomberonline.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=15552&highlight=snocad and so on with the search function... ...thanks.
  15. It should work. You might have to drill out for some bigger T-nuts if the existing holes are too big for part # mentioned. Those boots are sketchy though, I'd think. Upgrade your gear for cheap. There are plenty of deals around on really nice boots that other's are unloading in order to upgrade themselves. Just a thought.
  16. Hey all, Bola was kind enough to send us a White Dupraz pow stick for review 07/08 Season. As you may or may not know, Billy Bordy is our main gear reviewer. Before a trial could be given, Billy blew his ACL and was unable to complete the review. In fact, the board was never even ridden by any of the Hardbooter Crew. Unfortunately, between Billy's recovery and my added tasks for the last half of that season, we've spaced the whereabouts of this particular board and are soliciting your help to track this thing down so we may indeed review it and then return it to Bola of All Board Sports. If you have any knowledge of the it's location please contact me at dave@hardbooter.com. Thanks for your help!! Dave
  17. We tested the the new metal construction this season and reviewed it at HB.com Dave
  18. Not a big flash fan but nice and clean otherwise. Good on ya for getting another URL dedicated to the cause!!
  19. Too bad they didn't put ANY effort into getting F2 gear to the US. Not very professional...
  20. So glad to hear you're back out there. You were still bubbly at the Sesh though. I don't understand. You must be bouncing off the walls now that you can ride. Tear it up!! Dave
  21. I can't believe it! $hit happens and you got the shaft this time around. So many of us have been there and you will heal in time. I'm sure you will stay active around here though and you have so much good pasttime to dwell on. Cheers to you and a speedy Rehab. See you on the hill soon enough. Dave
  22. We'll be bringing out Rad Air Tankers, new metal 158 and 170 Madd, Classic Madd 180 with Carbon Butterfly in Flex 2 and 3 and Prior WCR non metal 177 if Chris doesen't. We'll also have a slew of BX shapes from Madd as well for the interested. Dave
