Ikon pass doesnt have blackouts.. Which pass do you have?! Green side of the mountain will be busy, blues are good and not as busy as greens, blacks will be best and the most empty

Get UPZ, they are exactly what you need based on your description, mondo 28, size 312. I have a size 11.5 and they sit perfectly on my feet. Any model would do it, just dont buy very old ones. RC10, RC11, RC12 are all 5 buckles. Even 4 buckles will do it. Easy to buy and easy to sell if you don't like hard boots. -

You probably right Jack. I am not a racer, never been never will use race technique in my freecarving and EC. I love rotation and no or minimum angulation in my toe/heelsides. However still see hip rotation when watching GS competitions... Well maybe its just me..

I believe that the basics of EC would help everyone, no matter what's your perspectives, carving or racing - doesnt matter, main idea is to start to rotate your hips into toe/heel side. Just angulation wont help you to carve deep, it has to be combined with rotational movement in your hips.

Then I would say you have wasted a lot of time man. Go back and start learning a technique of the proper turn in both heel and toe side. Watch this vid: You might get a better understanding of how and when to turn and where your body position should be. Good luck with your dreams!

Lets clarify, is your hand on the snow equals to dragging the body parts?! People temp to drag the body parts just because its safer and sometimes fun (EC tech) I also think that not dragging any body parts on the snow comes with experience only. -

I disagree Jack, since the basics of EC works with any type of riding. -
Two boards are in CO and ready to test. Great quality. First impression, they are stiff and camberred. Very solid and similar to original in shape. Cant wait on riding them.

I dont know a place just to buy bails... I usually buy new blocks (from Donek) or new bindings (from OES).
