  1. Once I ran flat. Now I run with front flat and a unicant (Ibex) 7° under the rear binding (like Pureboarding setting)
  2. Thank you very much for your answer. I'll try!
  3. Which board do you ride with this setting? What in your opinion are the advantages of Pureboarding setting? And your stance with this setting? I also tried it but with less difference between front and rear angles. Thanks
  4. I paint my gloves with Covergom http://www.prochima.it/pages/covergom.htm
  5. I don't like F2 cant/lift shims. I use bindings flat and under the rear binding I use the Burton/Ibex Unicant.
  6. Once I used the 325 with a spring system and then the AF700 or the UPZ Rc8, both with a spring system, Palau liners and a booster strap. Generally I prefer a softer setup. The Free 69 are the 325 but softer. For liners I prefer Palau OVP soft.
  7. UPZ size 27,5 is the same shell size of 27. You can buy the same size (27,5) or better half size less.
  8. I ride all terrains in hard boots. Once I rode also with soft boots but now only hard but with different softened boots. In freeride and powder, with all-mountain boards, longboards or swallowtails, I ride with UPZ rc8 with red tongues and DGSS spring system (green springs); I've cut the small tongue inside (in the rear of the shell) to have much more range of flex: amazing! In other conditions, I ride with UPZ rc8 with standard black tongues and DGSS spring system (green springs). With the DGSS spring system for UPZ I have a smoother flex and confort but at the same time trasmissivity. Sometimes I ride also with AT light boots (La Sportiva Sideral) for backcountry with a Jones Hovercraft board.
  9. Very interesting study. Congratulations.
  10. Yes, in Europe mainly on DeeLuxe and less on UPZ. Here: www.carversparadise.com
  11. Yes, may be. It seems we are telling the same things. I agree about the widest toe box of the Track 700 (in fact I use 1 number smaller than mine).
  12. I ride a swallow Pogo Shaman 193 - 23,5 cm widht - with softened hard boots (UPZ rc8 or DeeLuxe Track 700 with spring system) or with modified light AT boots. Stance 47 cm (flat bindings), angles 35°/45° For me it may be considered a multipourpose board also for carving on groomed and on ice (153 cm effective edge).
  13. UPZ have toebox bigger and so they wear 1 number more. My size is 27 and I have a 26 Rc8 boots with moldable liners. The DeeLuxe Track 700 are quite similar (I wear 1 number smaller). The DeeLuxe 325 series wear the same number.
  14. I think is impossible a comparison. The models are different.
  15. I've recently bought a F2 Diablo 166 at a really cheap price. Very good allround board although not to the level of a Coiler metal or similar.
  16. Sorry, you are correct. Now the liners are identical for both models, the last years were different.
  17. The RC8 are a bit softer then the RC10 but the real difference is made by the tongues. The RC10 have thinner liners I have the RC8 with red tongue and a spring system in the rear, awesome but a lot of friends use RC10 (with red tongue and spring system). I change the original liner with a Palau liner (lighter and better than original). If you are a racer, RC10 but if you are a carver, RC8. For skiing I don't use UPZ but ski boots.
  18. Very good board. I tried with a hard setting (F2 race titanium). A freeride board but good for all (also for carving on good snow)
  19. After years of use of different bindings, F2 race titanium are my favourites. They are also the most used both by racers and by carvers. I like them as they are: - light - simple and quick to adjust - cheap - not too stiff and at the same time trasmissive. Look no further. I tried a few times Bomber TD3 (from my friend) but I did'nt like as the F2; too heavy, too hardworking to adjust, and for me (from Italy) too expensive. I use also Ibex binding, another good bindings with a lot of flex (I prefer them on my freeride and carve Pureboarding boards).
  20. Hello Rob,Thank you very much for your informations. For me too Pogo are beautiful boards and the Longboard could be my next board. I agree with your issues and I think the PB setting and style a really multipourpose way of riding, and especially not boring. Cheers Pietro
  21. I agree. Also for me to widen my stance (compared to a flat stance) and to add the unicant at the rear was a good improvement. I don't use the original F2 wdges (poor plastic, prone to broken) but also with F2 bindings race titanium or carve rs I use the Unicant; as the Unicant holes are offsetted of 22,5% you must add 22,5% to the angle wanted in the rear. Please what is your stance in relation to your height? Cheers Pietro
  22. Try to widen your stance and I think you'll go better.
