  1. I like it! Once I used an old Burton model (may be Freeride), similar and after I put a third strap on Burton C60 bindings but only on the front binding. Now I ride only with hardboots.
  2. I agree, I replaced the original UPZ liners with Palau OVP Soft. Another story!
  3. 1) Try to set a bigger angle on front binding (close to 25°); when I rode in softboots my setting was 3°/9° (rear) and 27° front. 2) May be you doesn't rotate your torso/hips; rotation is important! 3) Add a bit of set-back to your stance.
  4. I agree. This way may be for me a really multiporpose and comfortable way to ride. I'd like to know how ride the bx boards over mentioned.
  5. Have you ever carved (with hard boot) on wide bx boards like Donek Saber, Coiler or SG Force? I am thinking to buy one of these to ride with softened hard boots and flat angles like 30/40.
  6. I use the Track 700 too and I've removed the top strap because I think it is not necessary. You can also switch it with a booster strap.
  7. It is suggested in the article: Canting and Lift By Jack Michaud I tried this setting in the past with several boards but for me wasn't a good idea. I prefer to ride flat.
  8. I am searching a skateboard to fun and train in carving during summer and also everyday in the city. Please does anyone know the Carver Skateboards as compared to other skates like Carveboard, Surfstick, Flowboard, Freebord and standard longboards the Carver seems more usable, also on flat slopes. Thanks.
  9. Hi agree with jeff33. Also my post wasn't negative!
  10. Hi agree!Excarving, nice vids; yes, ec is possible no bending but push-pull is too important to ride on steep slopes or in moguls. On flat slopes all is possible, even no bending. In Italy or Swiss (also in Zinal) or France not always the slopes (the snow) are in good conditions like in Corea so without push-pull ec is not possible. Of course, rotation is a fundamental!
  11. Nooooooo, pepperoni pizza is not an original pizza! When you come to Italy, I will invite you to eat a real one. Then you will not eat pepperoni pizza anymore! See you guys soon.
  12. Mmmmmhhhh.....carving is carving.....than, also for me rotation+push/pull are the best way of riding....
  13. Pogo swallowtail Shaman 193. I use only hard boots (DeeLuxe 700 or UPZ rc8) softened and with a spring system or AT boots super light as La Sportiva Sideral. For narrow places I ride a Jones Hovercraft 160.
  14. I always ride in hard boots, also soft boot boards like Jones Hovercraft (with light AT boots for free riding) or F2 eliminator and Swoard Dual everywhere (also for carving). I like to ride with a flat bindings set up and angles similar to 30/40 or 15/30 on 26 waist boards. Once I rode with a pureboarding setup on PB boards or soft boot boards. Stop to narrow boards ! ;-)
  15. Jorg rides with DeeLuxe; Free 69 on front and an old Suzuka (in walk mode) on back. I prefer the same boots (front and back) with same calf canting and a symmetric setup with flat bindings
  16. Probably Nils means during a strong rotational movement with bindings mounted flat (no cant/lift) typical of Extremecarving technique. https://picasaweb.google.com/104036064935851516152/ExtremeCarvingSession2011?authkey=Gv1sRgCPTnjcHi1-HOxQE#slideshow/5579874278595271362
  17. Finally the new F2 binding Race Titanium CNC. Very well made and a bit heavier than the standard model.
