On a recent trip to Mammoth, I overheard a young son and father's conversation behind me. Son - "Is that a mono ski?", to which his father replied "No, it's a carving board. That is a serious board for powerful turning". To which his son replied - "Wow, can I get one Dad". I turned around and told them about BOL.

Warmer day today. Good snow for carving everywhere in the morning. Lower mountain got fairly slushy by noon. Tomorrow is forecasted to be even warmer.

Take a look at Shintronics at Manoove.com I've been using them this week, and they amazing. Although I'm using them for an entirely different reason than you are.

Snowed 2-4" last night, and all day today. Powder stashes everywhere. Rode my 172 Metal Ax from 8:30am - 2:00pm.

Quite a bit of electronics and cables to wear, just to measure your speed. Hopefully, someday that can all be minimized to a single small electronic module.
